    this is more of a personal opinion thing but prob should take a look at the selection for a new favorite player because there's way cooler more fun options take a gander over at RF, for instance I just have loved Starlin since his call-up and have spent a lot of time defending him from unjust criticism. I understand how sunk cost works but I can't let go. And it's not like his chopped liver. Soler is my second favorite.

    Probably an exclusive arrangement with Anheuser-Busch Are there really no other IPAs in ABI's massive portfolio? Then again, even if there are, they're pushing Goose IPA pretty hard these days. Gotta be a priority for them.

    I liked how the board looked last night. It will take some getting used to. The bathroom lines were pretty long, but not longer than any other big game. Not sure what the fuss is about: did they remove bathrooms for the renovation? ETA: apparently, there were two bathrooms down in the UD.

    I am confused. He was rather famously traded from Detroit Apparently not that famously! I had no idea, but it took place before I was born and far before I started following MLB so I am giving myself a pass.

    When was the last time someone traded away a young #1 starter? Truly asking. Trying to remember. David Price? I guess I should have been more specific on what I meant by young. I was thinking like a 24 or 25 year old #1 starter. Not often. The one that pops to mind immediately for me is Smoltz. But I'm not sure he was viewed as a #1 when he was traded. There's the Latos example from earlier. Cashner. There was Kazmir when he was traded from the Mets. Beckett was still pretty young, but not that young. I don't think Smoltz was ever traded...

    Cricket is actually pretty tough with the ball's ability to bounce. It's also not baseball intuitive to hit the ball hard on the ground or in areas that would be otherwise foul in baseball. But I'd bet with some training and practice anyone who's decent at baseball would be pretty good.
