They could award him the missing service time, effectively making him a free-agent a year earlier. That's it? That penalty doesn't seem that horrible as far as worst-case scenarios go. Especially if it's as unlikely to occur as folks have been speculating.

It was a fun game and not our fault you spent $60 on bison dogs. yeah other than that stupid inning where arrieta gave up a bunch of crappy hits for 3 runs To be fair I was in line for beer and then explaining how troughs work while in an explicable line in the men's room for most of that inning. lmao i was in the men's room in the 3b concourse that inning...no line tho. were you in the portapotty line or another section? No no, trough line, upper deck, 1B line.

That has happened pretty much every time I've gone to the bathroom there. It's better for you because you can walk to the end while people wait 10 deep for a spot in the first trough. Absolutely.

Were you mansplaining that to a woman? Because if you are a person that would need to use a trough and you are not aware of how a trough would work, you have problems. No, I was puzzled as to why there was a line at the trough when there was an entire side open. The reason was that many (apparently first-timer) Wrigley pissers in the restroom were lined up on the right side instead of moving around to the other side, causing congestion. Making matters worse, the radio wasn't on in the bathroom for some reason. It was pretty much the worst thing I've ever experienced.

Are we talking about which city that has a baseball team is the worst to visit, or which city is the worst to visit for the purpose of going to a game? Going to a "cool" city where the ballpark is in the [expletive] boonies defeats the purpose of going to said cool city in the first place. Cincy is definitely my pick for the former; re: the latter, it's at least centrally-located and walking distance from the best hotels in town.

It's going to be like 55. What the [expletive] is wrong with you? I mean...I just went last night and I'm planning on going Saturday and maybe Friday. Am I going to go every time the tickets don't sell? I guess that shouldn't be an issue much longer as the team does better and the weather improves, but with concessions and crap it would start to get expensive. The tickets are a sunk cost. Also I like watching good pitching on TV. I went last night too and hear you on the concessions -- just eat in advance. I decided to start doing it this season and it's been life-changing. Even if you don't wanna cook, you can get a full meal at the Halsted Whole Foods for under $10. C'mon dude. Don't be "that guy" with season tickets you loathed while on the wait list. Yeah, good call. I like eating bad ballpark food but that'll have to stop if I'm going this often.
