  1. Castillos baserunning blunder ended Game 3...thats about all I can think of Not even close, Detroit has gift wrapped this thing. 8 unearned runs
  2. The best part was Buck saying "Eckstein delivers again..."
  3. How many runs have Det given Stl?
  4. What are you thinking, Blue?
  5. Wouldn't Robertson start Game 7? He didn't pitch horrible in Game 3 and frankly, nobody was going to beat Carpenter that game anyway. Your choices are Robertson on his normal 4 days rest or Bonderman on 2. Personally I'd take Robertson. But the Tigers still have to win 2 games to make this discussion matter so we'll see. Hahah you're right. I wasn't looking at the schedule. There's no way I send any pitcher on 2 days rest. I'd put Robertson in.
  6. The Cardinals have had more than their share of postseason misfortune. . . injuries, bad calls, etc. The ball is definitely bouncing their way this postseason but that is a rare change for the norm. . Not looking for sympathy - just saying. I was speaking more to their ability to have players who suck somehow "come through" for them
  7. Due to Hurrican Ivan(?) we ended up having to play 24 games in 22 days or something like that. Hawkins also really sucked if my memory serves me correctly.
  8. If you put $115 million into that Neon's engine, I could care less what it looked like. :D
  9. They can all play First Base?
  10. Off-topic maybe, but what exactly about Sosa "came to light"? Of any of those you mentioned: Bonds, Giambi, McGwire, plus Canseco, and Palmeiro (who testified in front of the Congressional committee) -- Sosa has the least against him. He never tested positive for steroids. No players or trainers have said anything about him taking performance-enhancing drugs. All we have is declining production and injuries. It's speculation. If you are talking about the cork incident, that's a different story, but it's nothing compared to juicing, imo.
  11. Better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all.
  12. Well, with Verlander tomorrow, and then Rogers-Carp in Detroit, it could be 3-3 with Bonderman in Detroit. Maybe?
  13. Wow. Only the Cardinals.
  14. Maybe because Molina has no chance on scoring from 2nd on a single. I understand it, but he doesn't make a big deal out of it until Miles makes an out.
  15. Now that Miles has grounded out, McCarver asks why he didn't bunt.
  16. Every World Series since 1945 has been...
  17. Where was FoxTrak on that pitch?
  18. Defense and Hustling wins championships
  19. Yeah, it looked like it was going to be close at the plate
  20. In a 7 game series, we could've done at least this much damage to Stl.
  21. Wow. That change is really nasty.
