Hmm, I'm not so sure about that. Prince Fielder is a good player, but he's pretty out of shape for someone who is supposed to be an athlete. I think we have the right -- no, the obligation -- to make fun of him until he loses some weight. Both for his health, and our personal satisfaction. . cuz i'm sure he frequents this board and will appreciate your hard-love intervention on his obesity. at this point, he's a better hitter than anyone on the Cubs, so I don't begrudge him the extra pounds. it hasn't hurt Cabrera, Ortiz, Mo Vaughn, Cecil Fielder.... :Hoping you read my sarcasm in that post: Of course he's a better hitter than anyone one the Cubs. I'd kill for Prince on my team anyday. And for the record, Cabrera's ZR is way down due in part to his weight gain, Ortiz is a DH, and there's little doubt that Cecil, Vaughn, Tony Gwynn, and yes, Prince would be better overall players if they were actually in shape.
