Meph was saying the Matsui's were the exception for most Japanese players coming over after their primes. Then he says that Japanese pitchers have thrived, whereas offensive players haven't. The exceptions being Ichiro, Jojima, and Iguchi. A-Ram was disputing Meph's statement that the Matsui's have not thrived.
