Maybe he's just Soriano streaky and the inconsistent playing time screwed him over. Or maybe he's still playoffs George and he just starts off slow the first two months like Heyward. I'm a clinger. Or maybe he just stinks, I don't know. But 11% walk rate, 24% K-rate (compared to last year) and a .240 BABIP (sorry Duke) is enough for me to keep holding on.

Floyd was just on Speigell and Goff and gave really awkward nervous 5 word answers, they were giving it to him pretty hard off the air. Not that I would've been any different.

guy in CF still has to walkie somebody, who then has to flash a signal to a guy that is concentrating on a pitch that has to be on its way by this time. I remain of the opinion that if they are able to do all that and it works then good for them. The signal to the batter would probably be verbal in some pre-determined fashion. I'd think it would be reserved for the more crucial situations later in the game. For all we know, that guy was just collecting info for later use. Even in, like, high school babe ruth we would be badasses and steal signs if we had the angle by saying "let's go kid!" if it was a fastball or "let's go (last name)!" if it was offspeed.

Hmm...what are the chances he gets called up? I'm pretty desperate for a C (had Schwarber as a keeper) in my yahoo league and the pickings are pretty slim (14 teams, 2 Cs). I have Perzinsky now but ever since I've been starting him there's a little bit of puke on my pillow when I wake up in the morning. With an injury to Montero, sure. I'd have to check our depth, but I doubt they'd call him up to replace Ross and miss out on AB's -

He'd seriously have to consider trading rosters! Lmfao what a joke, there's not a Cubs fan alive or dead who would even CONSIDER trading for the cardinals roster. Unless there were some cubs fans who really enjoyed high draft picks. Guilty as charged, but if there's one thing I love more than high draft picks it's endless long dong after dong.

We had 12$ nosebleeds seats yesterday, got there early before they checked tickets, decided to grab a really good seat to see what happened, and ended up hitting the lottery as pretty much every seat around us filled in and the people who had our seats were awesome drunks who congratulated us on the seats and sat behind us talking to us all game. So basically payed $12 for like 7th row seats by the first base dugout. It was a blast.

Yesterday it was burning hot in the sun and was kind of chilly in the shade, so it depends on your seats. Although I think today is even warmer than yesterday.
