Yeah, my friend was at a wedding in Puerto Rico and streamed the clincher during a wedding reception from a phone and eventually laptop. Also, a W flag was eventually brought out at the reception because the Cubs are insanely popular in Puerto Rico because JAVY motherfucking BAEZ.

If they were serious about trying something they should've just tried stealing 2nd before Lester was even in his windup to guarantee he'd be the one throwing. Which would've looked extra funny when Lester guns him down at 2nd by rolling the baseball like a bowling ball there. -

I mean it entirely depends on who you are trading him for, so it could most definitely be wrong. Active superstar? Top pitching (barf) prospects? Star pitcher (barf). Just trading him because his value is high and you think his wrists are so quick that they might break isn't enough to know.

The main camera was weirdly angled an awful, but whoever was running the camera was like a two-year old trying to get attention. Every single pitch seemed like split screen here, let's decide to zoom in on the catchers hand to show what he's calling, oohhh behind home plate camera!, and then the weird zoomed in on the batter camera where you couldn't even see the pitcher. They also threw in a left field line camera on a few pitches. Not to mention they only showed their "K-zone" a few random times and it looked like it was made in MS Paint.

I'm 99% sure that's it and would be my guess. Only other variations I could see would be Javy at 2B and Zobrist in LF or 1 of Coghlan/Soler in LF and Bryant at 3B with Javy coming in late for defense/pinch running and staying in the game. Yep, that's a winner. Having Javy at 3rd comforts me on so many levels. Love to get Soler's bat in the line up to see if he can replicate last October, but having Javy down there is huge. I wouldn't mind Zorbrist in LF, Bryant 3B, and Javy 2B. Basically, get Javy out there. I totally get it, understand it, and expect it, but the potential for those last 4 in the lineup to be blackholes makes me hesitate for a second and kinnnnda contemplate Coghlan.

I kinda laughed at the Zastryzyny/Nova matchup being a 50/50 deadlock and ending in a 1-1 tie.

As dumb as it was, I feel like Kaplan would have probably said the exact same quote if it was us. Which I guess is just to say they are two idiots, not to ease off on the Cardinals guy.
