    After yesterday, they realized Turner was just another Not Javi.

    So is Jacob Turner. For someone who spends as much time talking (er, writing?) about baseball as he does, Kyle does [expletive] like that a lot. Awhile back, I think Kyle went about two straight days arguing on Twitter that Javier Baez should be ranked higher than Miguel "Cano."

    They might not be comparable statistically, but visually, Jose Bautista homeruns always remind me of Javy with that slow leg lift.

    Yeah, that should've been ball 4 to Baez. Bryant took one too and seemed surprised but that one looked like it was probably a strike.

    Just missed it but the announcers were talking like the pitch before the homer was a "just foul" would-be homer down the line.

    Eric Byrnes is owning him. Harold saying Bonifacio will be one of the Braves greatest leadoff hitters in the last 20 years, Byrnes immediately following that up with saying Bonifacio's OBP is bad and won't change things too dramatically at the top of the order and that he probably won't even start. Byrnes also brought up FIP and Harold looked dazed. The second Byrnes acknowledged Bonifacio will at least bring them "energy," Harold's eyes lit up like a Christmas tree.

    You know how everyone always talks about not trading much for a 2 month rental? Now apply that to a guy who's had a .630 OPS after a crazy unsustainable hot first month, and a reliever who probably kind of sucks.

    Brett's live video feed was actually pretty good yesterday until he got a little serious defending sparkle and saying he will continue to use it. Said people take baseball too seriously in general and #sparkle is funny because he's not being serious with it and it's a joke to lighten the mood. Or enrage.

    He changed his normal one to JimBowdiv or something, is he doing what I think he is and going to try and pawn this off as being hacked? And now the JimBowdiv is gone. Is it that hard to say "I got duped, sorry"? Well what he actually did was worse than being duped.     Uhh, he has a poor feel for the game and doesn't have a mature approach. Just ask Parks. I have no idea where, at any level, Parks got the idea that Soler had a bad approach. Only so much time in an offseason, I guess.
