  1. theres been talk of tampering with Boras and Orioles they probably sign him 7/145
  2. I wonder how little Ned thinks of Laroche
  3. i wouldnt be surprised if the trainers gave him the blister somehow to create a diversion for his blown out elbow
  4. i went with Reed i dont think we win without the DP being broken up and the momentum that came from it
  5. how can you argue with this evidence ARam's EqA the past four years, by the way: .307, .302, .292, .294 i'm just saying, either braun is a better hitter than ARam, or you're assuming that his minor league and major league performances are both flukes, and his PECOTA projections are too high. that's not to mention the otherworldly projection Bill James had for him i'd gladly take Braun and his career .617 slg over Ramirez, offensively
  6. the Brewers have absolutely zero situational hitting and aren't much for playing good defense either but they do have a ton of talent for hitting the ball hard
  7. ESPN reporting Conor Jackson and Jarrod Parker for Teix Rosenthal reporting Conor and Scherzer eh, cant find any link for these; both are probably grossly ill-informed
  8. why isn't everyone talking about how stupid the A's are for playing Eric over Murton??
  9. Orel Hershiser has also talked about how he told his pitchers in TX to throw the changeup inside and let the hitter hit it foul 400 feet, then throw the next one 6 inches further inside and you've quickly got an 0-2 count.
  10. yeah but his arm hasn't looked strong for years. it wasn't throwing motion that was the problem, it was simply arm strength. i'm puzzled as to how he regained it. protein shakes?
  11. oddly it seems he's going to RF quite a bit of late, to the tune of long flyball outs. i was concerned in spring that he tried pulling everything and he might struggle when pitchers caught on pitching him strictly away.
  12. i actually like reading Brewer fans opinions question 1 jason kendall's throwing arm WTF
  13. we have the most runs scored in the NL and it's by a rather sizeable margin
  14. a 2.31 WHIP and .375/.448/.571 opposing hitters line in his last 15 appearances ewww
  15. oh ok then i wouldnt object to including Frank Castillo in a deal
  16. This would be nice. If they got Fuentes or Sherill I'd be scared. i'd be elated if they dealt useful parts for Sherrill and his 2.37 whip for the last month
  17. not to sound like an ass and maybe i'm misremembering, but who on Earth is Castilla?
  18. I beg to differ. Roy is definately worth 5-7 players HANDS DOWN. is Roy better than Rich Harden, who only cost 4 players (and Chad Gaudin came in the same deal?) Think about it dude Yes, Roy Halladay is much better than Rich Harden, he throws complete games like their going out of style. They are out of style. If Soriano is ok I wouldn't mind a shot at Roy but it's going to take a Kings ransome. If he's out there, I see the Angels being able to crush the Cubs in prospects. The Angels under no circumstance, ever deal their prospects. Miggy Cabrera was available for a decent price and who did they end up haggling over? Adenhart? I'm not worried about them whatsoever. But this trade is surely just a wet dream. But a real good one.
  19. if they've soured that much on Cabrera, it's a possibility but he's playing great defense and I doubt Guillen views him as a problem that needs fixing
