I picked it up from somewhere (always said it that way so I don't know where it came from). Is it wrong. Yes. Are there many phrases commonly misspoken in this country, hell yes. This one isn't very common but I'm guessing it has to do with the "Hoosier" accent since I most likely picked it up from my dad. He mispronounces many things and when I correct him he always says he was speaking "Hoosier." it sounds like you're bag paddling on the issue

you're right about that, but they didn't really get any immediate return on those guys, missing the playoffs two straight seasons after the trade. as barren as they are right now with young talent, you have to think they're regretful about that move.
