  1. lol, what a hubristic prick
  2. OMG belichick lost his mfing mind
  3. i really hate welker, edelman and austin collie
  4. that was a classic al davis pick. i understand loving athletes, but he's less physically gifted than Harvin and Maclin, to say nothing of polish
  5. a first-round pick in 2009, plus a third- and sixth-rounder that year for Williams and a seventh-round pick in '10 i couldn't believe we got a 1st for him, he had visibly stopped caring a while ago
  6. i've seen like 4 plays where darrius heyward-bey was involved today and my god, he's absolutely dreadful. no hands, technique, mental awareness...
  7. gus johnson can make even a KC-oakland game engrossing mornhinweg is a dunce of the highest order, i don't care what anybody says
  8. wow, amazing run by ADP and even better play by Buchanon
  9. what happened? HNIC picked two duds tonight. toronto-calgary was sloppy, and the avs didn't even show up
  10. i can trade those two in 1 second, george!
  11. you're right about that, but they didn't really get any immediate return on those guys, missing the playoffs two straight seasons after the trade. as barren as they are right now with young talent, you have to think they're regretful about that move.
  12. why'd he put hoffpauir on there twice? oh nevermind that's soriano
  13. the Canes probably could have use for Jack Johnson Staal & Taylor Hall might make for a good duo, though
  14. o... haha, what do i know anyway?
  15. letting Magglio's option kick in was indescribably incompetent maybe the worst personnel move made by any team since the Vernon Wells extension
  16. even worse than the perils of rushing Castro, we'd probably have mediocre production wasting a good year or two of cheap service time from him, to have him hit FA at 26 before his prime
  17. halo effect Franklin Gutierrez is just a terrible omission by the voters, though
  18. Yep, that's what I meant by that. You're right on the money. well what did you mean with your "fantastic." remark, "woe is me i can't ever have nice things"? let me go get some syrup for your pancakes, or whatever the adage is
  19. there go the super bowl hopes
  20. (not directed at you personally, but also of note)Jairus Byrd and Darren Sharper have caught more passes than Darrius Heyward-Bey on the season
  21. i was talking more about set WR screens, especially with big WRs like Ogletree and Williams
  22. and that opens the inside run, exactly what you want
  23. well yeah, it has to fit the personnel, but the good teams run them flawlessly
  24. i don't know why teams don't run screen passes a lot more than they do
  25. i don't see what's so surprising they were losing by 17 points to a team over which they were favored by 10 points. the lions have a habit of coming out looking great for a quarter or two before playing to their talent level man, olindo mare looks exactly like johnny from the wire
