  1. he compliments Howard's weaknesses well, that's for sure
  2. yeah, i have the same predicament, need to start 2 of these Benson vs. Det Grant vs. Bal Charles vs. Den Forsett vs. SF leaning Charles & one of Forsett/Benson at the moment
  3. a better question, is there a position you wouldn't take from the Vikings and give to the Bears?
  4. if someone asks you for extra mayonnaise, you gotta say yes, that's just part of it!
  5. why in the hell then wouldn't you start pulling for the local team? (the answer's obvious, i know)
  6. in all honesty, if you compared the full roster of both teams side by side, how many positions on the field would you be able to say the Bears had the more talented, skilled player? Angelo really doesn't get nearly enough heat, imo
  7. it's .5 PPR too so i'll probably start Forsett i'm not sure if Scott will get the ball at the goal line, so that factors into it too
  8. Benson's out start: B Scott vs. Cle or J. Charles @ SD or Forsett @ Stl
  9. between this and scoffing at the notion that Revis might be the best CB in the league, you mineaswell give up football arguments
  10. (coming into today, Woodson's best game of the year) percentage of receptions completed into player's coverage: woodson - 58.5 joseph - 58.5 average yds/completion into player's coverage: woodson - 12.8 joseph - 13.7 qb's rating into player's coverage woodson - 58.6 joseph - 62.3
  11. He is also allowing a lot of catches like he always has. He either gets the big INT or he gives up the catch because he always goes for the INT even when he has no chance. See his only 7 PD's and 44 solo tackles as evidence. He is having a good year but he isn't close to Allen or Sharper in the DPOY race at this point. Jonathan Joseph I would say is above him as well. He has 5 INT's (same as Woodson coming into week) and league leading 15 PD's for the surprise team of the year. epic fail
  12. i'd give up just about our entire farm minus Castro to get Cabrera, even coupled with his contract
  13. that was the PR game both sides played, but i'd be quite surprised if it played out like that. Filatov was saying things to the effect of "the coach has his opinion of me as a player", i don't know what will be changed after a year in the KHL. Cls told him to gain muscle over the summer, and he did- coming into camp 20 lbs heavier, i think it was. is he going to really improve a whole lot on his defense playing in Russia? it has to be a Hitchcock thing, can you tell me that Filatov's less NHL ready than other rookies like Anisimov or Kulikov, who are consistently getting 15 mins/g of TOI?
  14. Kane's spin-around goal vs. Minnesota was better too, imo i'm surprised nobody's brought up Cls loaning Filatov to the KHL yet. this is probably the best prospect in the game, and they're going to be forced to trade him in a couple months (or be stuck in some sort of Radulov limbo/purgatory, or lose him to Russia outright) because Hitchcock can't fit him into his system, for some reason. you couple that with Voracek and Brassard having their offensive ability somewhat squandered, it's really hard to think Hitch is the best coach for that team at this point. if they don't make a serious playoff run, i think they have to bring in a better fit to suit their young talent.
  15. people here would hate mariucci, he runs the most god awful vanilla conservative west coast scheme and once called shawn bryson "worth his weight in gold" [expletive] him
  16. i think Cutler's biggest problem is his habit of just locking into his receivers. last year whenever i watched Denver play, he'd get into a groove with Marshall or Royal for a stretch and just look to them every drop back. that's more acceptable when your receivers are great at gaining separation and making catches in traffic.
  17. how long until Sanchize lands on the bench, for good?
  18. i guess we didn't want the #1 pick, after all
  19. oh, lions just too bad that this one's blacked out for me
  20. yeah, he is. the Cardinals moustache thing the Oilers have going on makes me like them a whole lot less
  21. touchdown!
  22. well [expletive]
