  1. mountain out of a mole hill he's carried them offensively basically all year and people are spewing this idiotic "abandoned the team when it counts the most" garbage. i'm pretty sure the countless other wins he contributed in were equally as important
  2. my comment was on the quality of the teams. what you guys are talking about seems like slightly adjusted current W-L rankings, which serves little purpose, even for entertainment or discussion
  3. Kansas City, September 20: Oakland 13, Kansas City 10. yeah and didn't they outgain Oak 2.5-1 that game?
  4. i can see the broncos finishing with a .500 record, i still don't like em
  5. the Chiefs don't belong in the bottom 5, especially behind the Raiders, who shouldn't escape bottom 3 all year. Rams, Raiders, Browns, Bills, Lions will be the top 5 picks in the draft, i think
  6. tulowitzki being maybe the best player in baseball post-May
  7. he hit Emilio Bonifacio leadoff for like four months that alone scares me off
  8. no not really, we dont know what would have followed a no-call that and they had a guaranteed 3, regardless
  9. can't blame the refs there, Smith looked like the exorcist on that play
  10. it took a lot of balls
  11. So far this year Jackson has been worth more points, and Carolinas offensive suckitude scares me that Williams isnt going to have the year he had last year. Add in Jacksons punt returning skills also, and I dont see Williams as the much better player of the two. it's way too early for that to have any real meaning. Williams was a top-10 pick 3 weeks ago and Jackson considered a WR3 guy. their stocks haven't changed nearly enough to bridge that gap, it'd be a knee jerk move you'd seriously regret even a few weeks from now.
  12. http://www.nfl.com/videos/nfl-videos/09000d5d8130b6f5/Sound-FX-Schwartz-mic-d-up sling that thing!
  13. that doesn't make much sense, Williams is the much better player of the two
  14. it's puzzling why they haven't introduced really any wildcat plays with VY and johnson, seems worth a try i like the Chiefs more than you do, Bukie. they'll probably go into the bye week with just 1 win, but should end up winning 5 or 6 after the break. not really awful like the rest of the teams mentioned (sans Dolphins)
  15. if you don't start Hester this week, there's no reason in owning him at all Brady vs. Bal Palmer @ Cle and Grant @ Min McFadden @ Hou
  16. apropos of well, nothing
  17. http://www.stltoday.com/blogzone/bernies-extra-points/bernies-extra-points/bernies-5-minutes/2009/09/sept-26-gabbert-mu-come-through/ "Boras already is trying to convince MLB general managers that his client is a combination of Willie Mays, Mickey Mantle, Joe DiMaggio, Duke Snider."
  18. sure Favre's old, but can't he have a down year with a new team? Is Chad Ochocinco a scrub because of his lousy 08? he played really well in both games i've seen this season
  19. putrid. Oakland and Cleveland are going to have a hard fight this year over next year's #1 pick.
  20. why? Leonard should have been stopped short like the Stokley play should have been stopped; 2-1 sounds about right
  21. wow, what a drive
