  1. if you don't have a third son, this trade could really blow up in my face
  2. in the Eaton, et al deal: Cucamonga receives The Process's MLB 3th rounder Cucamonga receives The Process's Minors 3th rounder
  3. Dan Szymborski is a national treasure
  4. where's the angst over UM's kicker being kicked out of school for raping a girl 4 years after the crime, coincidentally just weeks after he, and his 5-star OT friend who threatened the victim, had used up all their eligibility? Oh, and the student paper that first reported on the 4 years between crime and punishment got banished from the press conference about it that Hoke held on Monday. Probably because the couple of Michigan fans that post here do not point out how their program is on some sort of higher moral ground. I would hope not. They let a guy that raped a girl kick extra points and FGs for 4 years before kicking him out of school. omg you look so pathetic with this your glaring ignorance aside, i'm reminded of the exactly zero times you ever expressed any concern over the sexual assault at ND which led to the victim taking her life (prompting articles like this one, saying "Recently, though, so many daughters of her Notre Dame friends have been raped on campus that she's concluded she needs to warn women who are thinking of attending." btw, did the player accused ever get expelled? (no) UM kicked the starting punter off the team last year for weed, but you're sure there was an university-wide, institutional cover-up of a sexual assault spanning two ADs and two coaches, for a freshman backup kicker...that's pretty patently ridiculous if you're curious the actual known undisputed facts from the story, so you can stop looking idiotic with your cynical fantasies, i'd suggest this as a decently comprehensive collection
  5. Roy Devyn Marble playing the role of Gary Harris / Yogi Ferell today
  6. um, they did the trololo song
  7. in the Price deal: Lynx receives Cucamonga's MLB 2rd rounder Cucamonga receives Lynx's MLB 6th rounder
  8. Jon Bois ‏@jon_bois truth: Lorenzen was an inspiration for BEEFTANK. his high school played mine in the 1998 Kentucky state championship. 7:07 PM - 3 Feb 2014
  9. 8 out of 9 people switched/set their crystal balls today to ISU, so that's gotta be a good sign
  10. the ubiquity of Jaylen/Jalen/Jaylon/etc. is pretty crazy to think about; Jalen Rose's mother named him after his father (James) & his uncle (Leonard) and a generation later it's one of the most popular names around...to think, if he wasn't good at basketball/awesome at life millions of kids would have different names
  11. Bennett was with Tampa for a few years (and PFF loved him) i wanted him pretty bad for the Lions, there was rumored interest, but they signed Jason Jones instead
  12. Yogi probably shot himself into the lottery with that performance
  13. i guess technically, beating a guy to death is a worse outcome than busting
  14. http://cdn.buzznet.com/assets/imgx/2/1/1/7/4/0/6/8/orig-21174068.jpg
  15. the conference currently has 3 of the top 8 teams in kenpom and 5 of the top 21 (with the bottom two teams barely outside the top 100), so maybe now isn't exactly the ideal time for that
  16. i voted Hendricks again, but i think i like Neil Ramirez more than most- it's definitely worth noting only 10 qualified pitchers in all of the minors had a higher K% last year
  17. he put that prepubescent Dodgers lefty ahead of Taijuan Walker, lol also, what is this, year 6 of HJ Lee as a top-100 guy? http://apartmentdwellerssurvivalguide.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/03/stop-trying-to-make-fetch-happen-no-caption.gif
  18. I get that, but they're 17 or 18 and being lied to (or at least mislead). either rival programs that actually honor their scholarships are doing a terrible job of communicating the risks of signing with St. Saban's Memorial Hospital, or these players are too hopelessly naive to get the point
  19. the Baez page is hysterical using the May 17th - end of season (1000 OPS) split, Baez had 32% HR:FB, which is 2008 Ryan Howard territory, and the spray chart looks like a horrible case of the shingles- just spots everywhere with no real sense of order
  20. yup, and it's safe to say this is the typical prevailing mindset amongst their fans: http://www.rollbamaroll.com/2014/1/27/5349996/2014-roster-lookahead-the-number-crunch#comments and from that article: That means if we signed all 27 today, the roster would be nine guys too big. Factor in Coker coming in in the fall, and that number jumps to ten too big. So where will those open slots come from? i don't feel sorry for these players anymore, either; if you put your kids/yourself in an SEC program, you should know full well by now you're getting no assurances whatsoever of keeping that scholarship for 4 years
  21. Javy & Olt might very well be the leaders in team WAR if they do those things and a prediction: Soler asserts himself as easily a top-15 prospect
  22. he's the CF Frank Lindor
  23. wow, unreal of course, if i'm to be negative for just a minute, it's kind of a bummer that he gets effectively cancelled out* by another divisional prospect; BUT, no Taveras is a pleasant surprise all that aside, Sal Perez's contract becomes a complete & total chuckle-fest after seeing this *yes i know this is not how it works
  24. yeah, i understand the problem, i got stuck on it when trying to think of comps before and just settled on a good fielding 3B to use
