  2. i am, but that's because i've paid enough attention to his history as an executive to see he's proven to be pretty much beyond reproach when it comes to player development
  3. oh yeah, get him up here quick to expunge Coghlan's 1000+ OPS from the lineup
  4. Good. The hardest voice to listen to in all of sports media, imo. Dickie V
  5. and all it took to get him was a waiver claim we reformed and the sweetener of the hilarious Russell/McKinney heist
  6. can't believe that one stayed in the yard
  7. no, he rather famously had a 6 inch growth spurt this offseason
  8. moral of the story: always hit the ball soft

    Week 1

is the rule still that you're supposed to lose your best start if you accidentally go over? because i hated that rule and i want to state i think it needs revisiting before i have a personal interest in it that kills my credibility on the matter; i don't see an issue with just making the last start invalid so long as it doesn't happen on like a weekly basis or whatever
  11. http://gifrific.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/11/Jennifer-Lawrence-Not-Bad-Look.gif
  12. speaking of bad defense, this has been a fun inning for the Red Sox offense 1-2-3 inning for Matt Tracy in his MLB debut, but Teixeira came off the bag early extending the inning after a challenge, then the bases were then loaded and Garrett Jones closed his glove too early on a playable fly ball, clearing the bases "the Yankees defense has been simply atrocious", cries Michael Kay
  13. yeah, Kyle Kendrick in the thin air of Coors seems like just about the most advantageous setup for dongs
  14. that cheating [expletive] Jordan Walden picked up the loss for the Cardinals tonight
  15. not a real glowing endorsement for Rivero that this puke is higher in the pecking order
  16. i think i like this combo pretty well: bryant 0 goldschmidt 19 springer 20 cabrera 25 c davis 26 stanton 37 total = 127 ZiPS projects 185 HR from that group other options are (2014/ZiPS): Trumbo (14/28) Soler (5/???) Pederson (0/22) Fielder (3/21) and Bryant isn't missing a month, in fact i'll be surprised if he's not in the lineup a week from today
  17. oh for [expletive]'s sake, let's just finish this interminable affair in waivers, the only interesting players are all taken anyway
