Who cares? Nothing wrong with showing some personality at the plate. Lee does sort of a half hop, Burnitz tends to stand there for a second during his follow through, ARam flips his bat. No big deal, at all. I disagree. Ramirez lingers much more than the rest. It has nothing to do with personality, unless your personality is hey look at me I'm great. I love the guy, but would like to see a little less of that stuff. I don't think he lingers more than Bonds, Griffey, Sosa, Edmonds...I just don't really have a problem with it. If he was a .250 hitter, it might be different in my mind. To me, it's no more offensive than spiking a football. And if opposing pitchers take offense, they can police it.
