Agreed. I wish the Cubs would chain Z, Prior, ARam and Lee to a radiator in Mesa to keep them from playing in this idiotic tournament. Macias and Neifi can play every game, though.

I'll ask this hypothetical again: Bradley is a little injury prone. If the odds of him having a meltdown or getting hurt next year are 50/50, would you rather have Pierre than Bradley?

If there's nothing to announce, then I wonder why it was postponed from 5:30. If there isn't a trade to announce, he must be working on one, and thought he was close enough to have an agreement in principle by now but was wrong. Maybe that was it. It could have been him meeting with the Marlins again. Who knows, though. I'm getting awfully antsy for some signs of positive movement.

Yes. No. I'd rather have Murton than Kearns. I'd see if we could sub other players for Abreu. However, if Murton was the dealbreaker, I might. Is Kearns/Abreu better than Murton/Abreu or Murton/Huff? -
Per the 5pm update on WSCR, George Ofman reported the Reds either offered or were seeking Mitre and Nolasco for Kearns.

Why would Wood agree to uproot his wife when she's expecting and from Waukegan to move to Texas? Why would we trade a 27 yr old enetering a prime where he has a great chance to win an MVP award for a guy leaving his prime? WHy would we want Hank Blalock? His away splits don't lie.

It's like this-if he wasn't a troll then he recieved an hororable Christian banning. If he was a troll, after we banned him, he would have used his troll powers to save himself, subsequently resulting in his banning. That Simpsons reference didn't exactly fit this scenario, but whatever.
