    Easily. A guy who puts up the numbers he has in the 4 seasons with the Cubs AND who leaves probably $40m on the table to resign here deserves more respect that he gets.

    I just looked at the prospects of that, and one thing caught my eye. If you went straight by number of posts and 1 matches up with 64 and so on, you have a 1st round matchup of Sulley vs. OMC. I think this would be an absolutely hilarious venture. I'm trying to figure out who I'd be matched up with. In a 64 person tournament, you'd be matched up against EJ in the first round. Boooooooooooooooooo. Loss for you. :wink: Well, yeah, it would be nice to have an easier first round matchup than you.

    Yeah. The thinking is that since the GC is our region's championship (Think Euro 2008), and that if we win we get to go to the Confederations Cup in 2009 (which means 3 good matches in South Africa), that it's better to send the A team here and the B team to Copa America. However, Copa America should feature the European based players without contracts like Onyweu and Beasley, as well as guys like Feilhaber, Bradley and Nguyen. Dempsey and Bocanegra might play. Donovan might play, but he's been waffling. The MLS guys won't play in Copa.

    How bad an injury? I guess it was just a mild sprain, since he's stayed on and tallied 2 assists as England now lead 3-0 in the 70th. Thanks. I'm getting myself some Galaxy tickets soon, I'm pretty excited. :) That's going to be fun. He's in really good form right now. He's going to just dominate MLS midfields as long as he doesn't get hacked to death.

    Maybe it's the cynic in me, but when I hear "knee sprain" I think "torn ACL". If he tore his ACL on that, I'd be very surprised. MRI today or tomorrow. This was reported?

I should send him a basket of hams, breads and the finest jellies in the land to express my respect for him--a respect which shall never wane, but shall grow greater as time passes, until the day comes where I am forced to commission the finest sculptors in the land to create a modern day Michaelangelo's David of IMB to be displayed for all in the land to gaze at in admiration and wonder, at the legend that is IMB.
