  1. On the plus side, that's about as poorly as you can play in a half and it's just a two score game. On the other hand, I have zero confidence that they can stop Green Bay when it matters.
  2. F yes Briggs. Best player on the defense.
  3. McCarthy is being stupid here too. I'd got for it. You're up 14 and the Bears have shown no ability to stop you.
  4. This is seriously embarrassing. They're gonna get blown out.
  5. Embarrassing performance by the defense
  6. Big play by Urlacher.
  7. Oh look, Olin got abused again.
  8. Peppers killed it on that series.
  9. Rodgers' swag is ridiculous right now.
  10. The technical ability of the front 6 guys tonight is just amazing, when you think back to past Camp Cupcakes. Agudelo, Bunbury, Mix, Dax, Bedoya (still don't like) and Shea are all pretty good with the ball. Juan and Teal in particular link up very well. Wynne might be the worst tactical mind in the player pool, but he's the fastest player I've ever seen. Ream + Gonzalez= happiness. Throw in a healthy, fitter Gooch learning in the Eredivise, Goodison and Opara, and I have visions of our backline not treating the ball like a hand grenade. I liked the idea of the 4-5-1 we came out in, but we ended up looking better in the 4-4-2, which isn't surprising given the inexperience in the camp. The 5 man midfield just suits us and gets our best players on the field. Bradley as a coach still gives us a lot to be happy about. Casting a wide net, establishing solid tactical awareness in this camp and letting the young guys express themselves creatively in the final third is just great to watch.
  11. I effing love the Telefutura commentators. Bunbury from the spot equalizes in the 75th. 1-1. Likes: Ream, Dax, Mix and Agudelo. Dislikes: Loyd and Bedoya. Cannot stand Bedoya. It's nothing in particular, either. I just don't rate him as being able to be useful against better teams.
  12. So Clint bags 2, Specs gets 1 and the Black Drogba scored in his debut in Germany for Ingolstadt. Pretty good weekend for the 'Nats abroad.
  13. Love it.
  14. A group of hucksters and con men bought the rights to the Cosmos name and are trying to put together an ownership group in hopes of being the 20th MLS franchise. They bought some youth academies and are trying to market themselves up as the return of the NASL team. However, they have no stadium plan, no investors, and if you look closely at the people involved, little credibility. MLS is going to end up with a 2nd NY team, but I'd say it's even money it's not this group.
  15. Was it the picture of Fielder having champagne dumped on his face after they won the WC in 2008?
  16. New England has played one of the dumber games in recent memory here.
  17. Nice gameplan, NE.
  18. Mark Sanchez is complete crap.
  19. That's why you don't pick up dumbassed personal foul's, Olin.
  20. God, I can't wait until Kreutz retires
  21. It'd still be a 3 score game. Duh. I heart math.
  22. Why is Carroll kicking an EP there? Don't you have to go for two, to make it a 2 score game?
  23. Because he's a mediocre in game coach.
