    i don't know, bobby jenks is real real good. and he's got way more saves than marmol. plus he won a world series. come back and tell me that when marmol has a few years of closing out games under his belt, then they can be comparable. saves are way more important than whatever it is that marmol does. there, is that a good sox fan impression or what? Needs more grammar and spelling errors. Don't forget a reference to one of the Cubs' historical screwups. Oh, dont forget the one things some Sox fans say to me (which i hate to hear), "So, what has it been... 100 years?"

    I think this half inning its self has been about half an hour (or it atleast feels like it).

    SEC Freshman of the Year out of Ole Miss in....2001 I think. Was the Rockies 2nd round pick in 2004. He was also Eli Manning's backup QB at Ole Miss. Which is funny because Todd Helton was Peyton's backup at Tennessee for a while. Smith was also the guy that Papelbon (from Mississippi State) struck out to end the WS last year. Prior to the Fukudome acquisition, he was a guy I was hoping the Cubs would explore as a RF option. He's put up good numbers in the minors. Sorry i know this is off topic, but every time i see that name or read that word in a sentence it brings back really bad memories.

    I totally agree with giving him tommorow off instead of giving him today off. But, lets say he goes 4-5 or 5-5 today than do you still give him a day off?

    wrong. Saturday day games area blacked out from noon until 6 or 7 I've watched at least two Saturday afternoon games on MLBTV this year and didn't 'do anything' to be able to... Me too. From looking at the media guide, MLB.tv users should be able to watch this one, only the 3:55 games seem to be blacked out due to FOX. I watched the Reds vs. Mets game last saturday which also began at noon. so i dont see a reason why we wont be able to watch todays game...

    That's what I am hoping for. I mean, he can't throw his changeup, if he can't get a good grip on the ball. Hoffman should basically be throwing batting practice in the 9th innings, if the Cubs are smart. well. Wuertz has his slider working so far...
