    You gonna say this after a 3 strikeout performance and a dropped flyball in Left? :D and if he continues to do that for the next to weeks? well than right after that he will turn it around at hit .500 with 5 homers in 5 games. I know, I was just being facetious Yeah we all want him back. These Cubs are much better with Soriano than without.

    Oh yes dear God thank you. Yeah i guess they did finally notice how bad Hart has pitched. And i hope Eyre is fully healthy and is not being forced back early (i don't see why they would bring him back early but im just saying..).

    I don't care if they are not calling him up in order to save on arbitration or whatever. But, the what makes it even more stupid is when they say they have a set starting rotation. What? dude this guy is dominating AAA, bring him up! and than if he lays an egg than you have a reason to send him down.

    Even if you look at the infamous picture of Bartman catching the ball, theres like 10 other set of hands reaching out. He just happened to be the unlucky bastard who fate frowned upon. It could have just as easily been some other name synonomous with the collapse of '03. I agree. Why not blame the team? Why not blame the players who went out there and layed an egg? Why not blame the poor managing decisions by Dusty? I want all of these stupid people out there in this world to stop blaming Bartman for what he did. It's not funny and he is not the reason the '03 Cubs fell apart. Also, How do they know for sure Alou would've made that catch? Go back and ask all those players again if they believe Bartman was the reason they lost that year. And if they do, than shame on them.

    I agree. This is just a slump on the road (total coincidence?). Now, if you would have asked me to be positive last night after such a horrid ball game i would've said "heck NO!". But i guess at the end they have played really good without Soriano and many other players who missed some time due to injuries. I say the Cubs will be fine, even if they do end up losing 1st place for a time because of how hot milwaukee is right now but at the end the Cubs are going to be the ones back on top.

    Don't play Soriano tomorrow. Especially if Hudson is hurt badly. Believe it or not I am a bit worried about retaliation. Alright. Put Glenallen Hill in LF then. yeah, i doubt he could be any worse.. other than the "pocket rocket" mike fontenot no one is deserving to play or heck get there pay check.

    I hate to say it but i kind of agree. I think this team doesn't have it. And yes mark me for saying if we do "reach" the postseason because i don't see this team doing anything. I'll happily eat crow, but the road woes have been there all along and are only getting worse. And i think there going to get worse. Someone tell me a reason to be optimistic. I've been throught the thick and thin but this team is getting to a point that it's dissapointing and i doubt its going to end good.

    Not bad. I think it could do better than todays team. This is such a streaky team its pissing me off.

    last night was 100x worse than this. Atleast we had some sort of pitching last night. That's what makes it a worse loss, IMO. Great pitching. Crushing the ball. Nothing to show for it. Yeah there were some balls that were crushed earlier today but had nothing to show for it either. Like for example the Aramis three run warning track blast in the 3rd.
