  1. So would he still have asked had they lost the game?
  2. Forgive my ignorance.... but hudahell is Tony Boselli ?? Former lineman, current color man on the Rams/Vikes game on Fox.
  3. Is there anyone on the entire planet, Rosie O'Donnell aside, that is more annoying than Tony Boselli?
  4. I don't know either, and I've seen him play a few times.
  5. That commercial freaks me out.
  6. Bruce Levine: Hey, Kenny. What's going on? Kenny Williams: Not much, thinking I'd like to see Rocky Balboa.
  7. I would. Zito will play his home games at AT & T Park, Lilly at Wrigley. Zito will be in the NL West with its share of pitcher's parks, Lilly in the NL Central. Petco is the only true pitcher's park in that division. LA has been well below average, but that's a reflection of the crappy offensive teams they've assembled lately. Dodger Stadium was top 10 last year, and Juan Pierre aside, it should stay that way with the influx of good young offensive talent. AT&T is about average, but Coors and Chase are still 2 of the premier hitter's parks in the game. A pitcher's park or hitter's park is not a reflection of how good the home team's offense is. It's a reflection of how many runs are scored.

  9. Zito won a Cy Young, Zambrano hasn't. Foolish as it sounds, it will make a difference.
  10. Good thing we re-signed Blanco.
  11. If Junior doesn't make it they should just close the damn thing down.
  12. IIRC, Grace had more hits in the 90's than any other player in the game during that period. I could be wrong, though. He also led the league in slumpbusting.
  13. Hard to believe they're getting worse, but...
  14. The Marquis signing was an obvious one, what with Hendry's recent appreciation for players with French (or French sounding) names: -Jason Dubois -Juan Pierre -Jacque Jones -Marquis Grissom -Jason Marquis Then why didn't he go after Mike Piazza, then? Although there were rumors Hendry was interested in Tony Graffanino. Italy is not part of France.
  15. You should be banned for that.
  16. I shot a man in Reno just to watch him die.
  17. The Don will never make up with Rosie. Troops may eventually make it home.
  18. I expect everyone to exceed their career totals. I'm quite sure I'll be disappointed at season's end yet again.
  19. Thought the thread was about Loretta Swit. Woe is me.
  20. The Cubs organization hates Rich Hill. Here's proof. I may be missing the point here, or maybe I'm not getting the possible sarcasm, but I don't see any hate for Rich Hill in this article. This was posted July 18, 2006 and at that time this is would be a positive thing to say about a struggling young pitcher. Somebody said the Cubs don't "have a thing" for Rich Hill, and somebody still thinks that person said the Cubs hate him. It's really become quite annoying.
  21. I can't believe Harvey's name is still popping up on lists.
  22. Quality? Starters?
  23. And Murton will be at 310/380.
