  1. Nice rebound by Z after the leadoff double. Let's get some runs!
  2. The Brewers are hitting the ball hard.
  3. But Tyson Chandler just hurt his ankle. :( :( PS: I hate Bill Walton. You and me both.
  4. But Tyson Chandler just hurt his ankle. :( yeah, I see. :(
  5. In other news, the Bulls are looking to tie the series! Let's go Bullies.
  6. The good news is that they only got one run.
  7. Hall walks. Bases loaded, 1 out. DP please.
  8. I agree that he is the key to them winning. Then again, the Cubs aren't going anywhere without at least one of Wood or Prior returning to form. That doesn't mean that Zambrano isn't currently viewed as the "ace" (even though he won't be when they return). To me, the same can be said for Capuano; who's anchoring the staff while Sheets finds his rhythm. Anyway, go Z!
  9. That means nothing if Sheets can't stay healthy. Capuano carried them last season. I wouldn't say that Zambrano is as dominant a pitcher as Wood or Prior when all are healthy and at the top of their game. Heck, Doug Melvin even described Capuano as the ace when he was interviewed on The Score Friday. When Dan Bernstein talked to him about Sheets injuries Melvin was quick to say that Capuano has emerged has the leader of the staff.
  10. Capuano and Zambrano are in the same boat. An argument can be made that, when they have their full rotation, neither is the most dominant pitcher on the staff. However, both are their club's respective aces based on prior years performance and consistency.
  11. Agreed. However, Capuano is the Brewers' Ace so it won't be easy. ummmmmmmmm.........Ben Sheets. Sheets isn't even active. Capuano is a good pitcher. Wrong. Yeah, I know, as soon as I typed it but that doesn't make him the Ace. Capuano has been their most consistent starter.
  12. Agreed. However, Capuano is the Brewers' Ace so it won't be easy. ummmmmmmmm.........Ben Sheets. Edit:. Sheets is coming back from injury so he can't be the ace
  13. Agreed. However, Capuano is the Brewers' Ace (not Sheets)so it won't be easy.
  14. Today's lineups: Weeks Hall Jenkins Lee Fielder Koskie Miller Clark Capuano Pierre Cedeno Walker Ramirez Murton Barrett Jones Hairston Zambrano
  15. It helps that tomorrow's Cubs game is a 7:05 pm start. You might get your wish.
  16. Welcome! I just heard on ESPN AM 1000 that the Cubs will probably wait around all day to try and get this game in. The Cubs and Brewers don't have an open day, that works for both teams, for several months. Plus, the Cubs could lose 2.5 M if the game is rained out. They may wait for a window in the weather or just play during a constant light rain.
