  1. Stop swinging. JoBo might walk the park.
  2. Come on, JoBo blew plenty of saves for the Cubs. He owes them at least one!
  3. I'm still hanging the blame on Williamson (whether they win or not).
  4. Did you know Scott has a brother named "Willie Mays" Eyre? LOL
  5. The Bullpen has a rare off day. Walks KILL
  6. Insert any names you wish as long as they win!
  7. Right down the middle. Jerry doesn't inspire confidence.
  8. Still need to tie it here. Come on JHJ
  9. That makes sense. You know teams are more likely to walk Aramis. It makes a lot of sense. Pierre's not good. There's no reason to pick a fight. Aramis, as the only true power threat in the lineup, should have a higher OBP regardless of his BA. It's comparing apples and oranges. MURTON

  11. Most outfielders would have caught the ball to RF which would have made the out to Pierre the 3rd in the inning. But a run would have score on the first flyout either way That's the not so bad considering the bases were loaded when he came into the game. Williamson is to blame. I don't think that either pitcher did a good job. You're expecting a lot with the bases loaded. Howry gets more fly ball outs anyway. That ball should have been caught and no more than one run should have scored. He gets paid a lot of money. So for me to say he did a good job, he needed to come in and get a ground ball or a strike out. He didn't necessarily do bad...but he didn't do good either. He's not really a ground ball pitcher so I think your expectations are too high.
