I could veto the trade but it's hard to at this point. At minimum, the draft pick should be returned. If Todd is really pissed that we'd question why he'd want 2 of his 10 keepers to both be Utility only eligibility, then ok.

Hm, I guess. A guy with Sano at Util trades for Prince, who is also limited to Util? It makes no sense. Kluber is a great pitcher, but he's not worth taking on the broken remains of Holliday and Prince. I'm not sure Todd is back. Finding a manager to take on that piece of horsefeathers team is going to be tough.

Chuck (HBC) is a mess. Only Gattis and Springer are exempt. We'll use an exempt spot for Mason Williams, otherwise, he would have 11 prospects. Who would you keep? Lester 556.50 Zobrist 375 Harper 631.25 Donaldson 614.75 Marte 441.25 Upton 445.25

Adam, Chuck, and Todd have full rosters that need to be pared down. Todd has totally ignored everything this off-season and has had no presence here but somehow was able to execute a massive trade with Tim in which he got royally fucked. I need a really good reason not to veto that trade. Deven - Beckham exceed 200 ABs last year, so you have 11 keepers. If you don't make a different change, I'm going to drop him from your roster. Bob- you have 2012 points (Pollack, Goldie, Longoria, Shields). You need to make a change ASAP or I'll have to drop one of these guys from your roster.

Looks like several teams aren't going to make the deadline, including most of the guys we haven't heard from all offseason. Raisin and Truffle said they were both in but their rosters aren't done (raisin has 3 guys in the minors that can't be there). I don't have time to go thru all those rosters but the draft starts on Monday and we still may not be done by opening day. So I'll start chopping up rosters at noon Pacific tomorrow. Do I just use my best guess as to who should be kept? If anyone wants to post suggestions, that'd be great. Hope all these teams are actually planning on playing this year.

Did I mention the other new rule? For 2014 only the exemption limit for Dodgers players is 27 ABs. Tough break. -

Looks like you don't have a 1st or 4th in the MLB draft and don't have a 1st or 2nd in the prospect draft. I think you took imb's team. He made that insane trade with tim taking on trout and whatever but giving up bryant for 4 years and a couple top draft picks. really horsefeathering decimated that team. but he lost to abuck in the finals, so...

There's a thread in this forum called Draft Pick Trades which lists them all. If none are listed for you, then I think you have all your picks.

look at their stats and see if they have more than 3 years over the exempt limit. Exempt limit being 50 PAs, 5 starts, or 10 pitching appearances.

you mean since the deal was negotiated before the trading window was even open and no one else was making offers and the league didn't have managers? yes, probably.

what's your issue with the schwarber trade? that was made on june 16. looks great for me in hindsight since schwarber owned and HRam was injured for almost 2 months but I made that trade b/c I was giving up on the season. At the time, Hanley had missed like 5 games and had like 15 HRs and an .800 OPS and was scorching in June (and still SS eligible). And I swapped my 2nd round pick for tree's 5th. And tree made the horsefeathering playoffs, which was the whole point for him. Would he have been better off with Schwarber, yes? If anyone other than you knew that, I'd be shocked.

i don't think it's controversial to say these things are roughly true pineda = odorizzi exempt danny salazar = kluber at 613pts reddick, holliday, prince have little to no value pre-roster-set so sure why not add both #2 overall picks on top of it all and on top of this, literally no one else has been discussing trades since the end of last season. We barely filled all the manager slots, assuming we have (I still haven't received a response from Bob or Navin to my pm asking them to confirm they're still in). And the day I say it's ok to start trading, you've already completed a 7-player, 2-draft pick trade in which you've clearly gotten the advantage over the other team. I think sneaky is correct in his assessment, but prince in particular is worthless pre-draft to most teams, but esp UK. He isn't 1B eligible this year and UK already has Sano as an exempt (and better) keeper who is only eligible at Util. Even if he becomes 1B eligible, he already has Duda who is roughly equal in value to Prince.
