The last two years, there are eight pitchers that have been more productive than Wilson. Eight. He's been better than Lester, Lincecum, Carpenter, Greinke, Gallardo, Cain, Ubaldo, Price, and Hamels. So you support paying the going rate for Wilson or are you just refuting this point. Bc I'd be hesitant to dole out what'll cost to sign Wilson unless we can afford the possible negative side effects of this and one of the big 1b targets.

Some of those teams will struggle to break even. But not going would be almost fatal for any of those such schools. There's cfb on tv all the damn time if you just want more. I can't believe there are more than a handful of people that actively want to watch ULL and SDSU.

I know Wisconsin has QB issues beyond Wilson, but I think Crist would just add numbers to those issues, not solve any. Hard to say. If he was back in a pro offense, he'd look much better than he did this year. He was never comfortable in the spread. Still has a cannon arm and the whole team loves him, so leadership issues aren't a question either.

Not surprising, but Crist is leaving ND after he graduates later this month. Kelly granted him permission to talk to other teams. There's speculation about a few teams, including Wisconsin. Be funny if the same team benefits from the 5th year transfer rule two years running.

Hopefully the loss of Ianello at Akron means ND can remove them from the future schedule. Esp if they hire a sleazeball like tressel.

Mostly the rally monkey and bc their manager "plays the game the right way." Hate is a strong word. They just annoy me. I want ramirez on a team I like. or the mariners so I can wait outside safeco and apologize for the ill treatment he received from the Chicago media.

I think most head coaches these days are more CEO types, but it seems like Texas has still been able to get assistants. They got Harsin from Boise, and replaced Muschamp with Diaz, who is also really well regarded. I think the biggest problem for UT has been horrific QB play. Most? I don't know. There are a lot of x & o coaches. Laney, Chip Kelly, Brian Kelly, Paul Johnson, etc - they've all got their noses in the playsheet on Saturday. Most is probably an overstatement, the point was more that Brown's delegating style isn't uncommon. I think that's true. But I think the current wave of good coaches run one side of the ball or the other. Might he just a phase.

It's odd that you complain about a lack of attention to Syracuse when you had ample opportunity to start a thread about it and didn't. Instead you use the lack of discussion about it to question the interest in Paterno. I'm not sure you're really upset about the lack of attention for Syracuse, you just want to defend Paterno. Re paterno v sandusky, you don't get to decide who should be the topic of discussion, regardless of who has been formally charged with what. It seems the coach with 800 wins losing his job due to a huge scandal is worthy of discussion.
