  1. I've already given up. I'll trade my good players.* *I have no good players.
  2. Seems like I'm near the middle of the pack in points each week (the lower end of the middle, admittedly), but going 0-3. Time for Drew Smyly to make his RK debut in W4.
  3. No he won't. Name the other 20 w/o looking it up.
  4. [expletive]. I woke up today and said "today would be a great day for a surprise visit to safeco." played in the park instead. [expletive].
  5. Turns out Tee Shephard's health issue was that he was never actually academically cleared (by the ncaa). Thankfully for usc, academic issues aren't a problem, so he'll probably enroll there in the fall. http://fresnobeehive.com/sportsbuzz/2012/02/shepard_central_section_signin.html#storylink=cpy
  6. Why did you believe your 4 innings were enough of a sample for criticism but not enough for a positive vote? For the record, I didn't vote since I didn't believe I had enough sample to make a good decision. Given the fact that the poll was created before there was a sample size I think that is besides the point. The point seems to be to gather a snapshot of how people feel on the matter at any given point. You realize that CC is the one that asked for justification by those with different opinions. Raisin just put CC's question back to him. I just see what raisin wrote, that there isn't enough sample. You don't see the 4th post in the thread?
  7. Who are we kidding? Hendry doesn't know how to use a computer, let alone email (both sending and receiving of). i think imb told a story once about having a boss who made one of his underlings print out all his emails and bring them to him. i would totally buy it if we heard that guy that hendry hired as director of informational statistics or whatever spent most of his time doing that. I had forgotten that. That's great. A partner at a firm I used to work at would forward almost every email to his secretary with the note "p;dtm" (print; deliver to me). Ugh.

  9. Yeah this sounds like Hendry trying to revive his career by saying he was forced to make moves under threat of physical harm from some psycho.
  10. One man's "vicious" is another man's "reasonably detailed explanation of the exact manner of death with emphasis on the associated pain, misery, and anguish inflicted."
  11. Vicious is a subjective term.
  12. Maybe CBS is trying to save Calvinball some embarrassment
  13. We only get 1 DL spot, right?
  14. Snood - another 4-star player graduating ND and joining Weis in Kansas in May. Anthony MacDonald was a good recruit but injured early and got passed by Teo (not really his fault). Crist's HS teammate. Solid MLB for KU though light on experience.
  15. The WRs are irrelevant when the QB throws it to the other team or drops the snap, as appears to be Golson's MO this spring. I'm just hoping to cut down on the number of fumbles returned 95-yards for TDs.
  16. I'm very excited he got a waiver. I think Kelly should abandon the spread and just run a Woody Hayes offense with the disparity in talent between our QBs and RBs.
  17. You're a college football player at a prominent school, and you're concerned with your high school girlfriend who you'll undoubtedly be done with in 2 years because she's a high school girlfriend. Shaq Evans left ND 2 years ago for the same reason. Maybe you guys don't understand just how slim the pickins are in south bend. Lost 2 five star freshman in 2 months and just missed signing a 5 star WR in Feb. Good spring we're having.
  18. 84 or 85 (I was 6 or 7). Against the Mets. The Cubs won. Probably June-August. That's all I can remember without thinking more about it. Hard to recall the difference between those early games.
  19. Helps explain bb's scale.
  20. You're both right. I was just taking a shot at mcf. My undergrad was 75% kids from the Chicago or MSP burbs. MSP is just fine in this department. I'm 100% honest about Wisconsin and Nebraska though.
  21. She's probably not even hot in Iowa. When I heard volleyball I figured the range was quite wide, with the risk to the downside very high. Iowa has more than it's fair share of attractive women. It's not like we're Wisconsin, Minnesota, or Nebraska. Why don't you think Iowa deserves attractive women? Per capita. It's like the anti-Seattle (unless redheads or Asian women are your thing).
