  1. Can someone who understands this better than me explain wtf they're going to do with the 7 2nd round picks they've picked up this week?
  2. I only caught parts of the game and missed the Fears donkey kick. Absolutely inexcusable. Kinda glad they got their asses handed to them.
  3. Hey, they got Ousmane Dieng and 3 useless 2nd round picks too!
  4. You should be able to click on the choose files link in the text box for a new message and add them from your photo library on your phone. I've never had an issue going that route.
  5. Wagler doesn't turn the ball over nearly as much, is a better shooter, and a more willing defender. He's an easy top 10 pick at this point barring something weird happening the rest of the year.
  6. While I was drunk on Saturday night I placed a 10 leg college basketball parlay and actually hit it. It was all really good odds so my $10 bet only paid like $36 but it was fun to wake up Sunday morning and start following it while the games were happening.
  7. He's from Chicago and wants to be the hometown hero?
  8. I'm not sure it's regression so much as they just played 2 of the likely top 5 teams in the country and were missing 2 guys for one of them and Mast was maybe 75% yesterday. I do think they're going to struggle against teams with size and athleticism (say, Florida) based on how they got dominated on the boards yesterday by Illinois. Illinois also only shot 30% from deep yesterday vs 43& from Nebraska. That game probably shouldn't have been as close as it was. Humrichous in particular usually knocks down a couple and he was 0-5.
  9. Mirkovic is a tank. That dude is going to be able to play until he's 50. He's got major old man game.
  10. Encouraging to me that they won comfortably without even playing that well. A couple big 3s by Humrichous were key but the Huskies were never really that close.
  11. I'd be shocked if that happens unless last year's draft class completely falls on their face collectively. Development from that group should fill in some of the gaps in AA by the end of the season.
  12. I was absolutely wrecked by the end of the Rams game. Shared a couple barrel aged stouts with a friend before I headed down, then had a couple cans of VSOR and a few shots before going into the game and didn't need much to keep that buzz alive for the whole game.
  13. I was in 441 and it was right in front of me too. 😂
  14. This sounds like you're saying to extend Bregman when he's already here for 5 years. Am I misunderstanding what you're trying to say?
  15. I ramped up my running from 2008-2011 and went from a 3:52 marathon to a 3:16 marathon. I ran a couple more after that in 2012 and 2013 in around 3:25 but then I had to stop running because I wrecked my body so bad that my hip and back couldn't take that level of pounding anymore. I'm sharing this for no particular reason at all.
  16. Sure, but when you send a guy that young out there who's already at that number in a game when you have a sizable lead and we already knew at that point 100 pitches was a decent barometer of use/overuse, it's malpractice.
  17. This might not be the place for you.
  18. I would bet he's a guy who really has to stick to a regimen so he doesn't relapse with the booze and getting out of that routine is a real problem for him so he sticks close to home where he's in his comfort zone and has the support he needs.
  19. I think the owners will always stop short of a hard cap because it essentially forces them to open up their books and actually tell the players what revenues are so the pot can get divided up. Anything that forces them to do that feels like something almost all of them will want to avoid so people like PTR can cry poor and that they "just trying to break even".
  20. Shows what I know. 😂
  21. RE: Bills/Broncos I didn't think it was a catch and the interception was the right call, but if the refs are going to call those garbage DPIs against the Bills, there was definitely DPI on that play by the Broncos. Allen has to make a better throw there, but the receiver got wrapped up before the ball got there and it was a textbook call that the refs can't miss.
  22. Because the Jets are an absolute trash organization and it's hard to hold failing there against anyone.
  23. I'd pass based on him trying to punch an opponent after the game.
  24. I would argue that, barring injury, the starting pitching is probably better and with a ready made reinforcement available no later than July 1st, you even have pretty good insurance there. You're probably better overall offensively too because if Mo Baller is the almost every day DH, you're likely going to get better offensive production there than 3rd base provided last year and most everything else will be essentially a wash.
  25. Okay Chicagoans, when should I grab my ticket? Have prices dropped as far as they're going to or will people panic sell on Sunday when the reality of how cold it is hits them?
