That game is now in the 15th tied 4-4 The failed suicide squeeze with two outs in the 15th was so, so, so very Dusty. I don't think that's what that was. It looked like he just got caught wandering off the base and didn't expect the 3B to sneak up behind him. He didn't start running toward home until Molina made a throw down there.

All he has to do is grow a sweet stache to close that gap.

Billy Hamilton just stole second off Molina for the second night in a row and scored the tying run in the 13th in Cincinnati against the Cards. I hate Dusty so much, but I really don't care at this point if they screw over the Cards.

Sunday night is the featured game now like Mondays used to be. That changed when NBC took over Sundays and ESPN got Mondays. I think they made that move because Monday ratings had dropped off regardless of the quality of the game that was on.

I'm assuming we'd have to trade for the pitcher(s) unless we can get Tanaka. I wonder what the Cards are going to do with Beltran this offseason. I don't hear his name mentioned much with the FA class this offseason, but he could be a more reasonably priced option. I just wouldn't want to sign him if the Cards give him a QO. I'd be shocked if they did. They've already got a logjam of guys at the corner OF and 1B without him in the picture. Between Adams, Craig, and Tavares, they've got 3 guys to play 2 positions.

I was in the middle of a run when it happened. Totally forgot until I got back. I'm pretty happy with my team though. The scoring system is.......odd. As was I. Only 5 miles for me, though. I went 12, so clearly I'm better than you! :wink:

This is the issue I have with the clown ass fans down here. Most of them are completely clueless as to how ridiculously lucky they were to win both of those WS. I would have preferred them to win it in a season they were actually a good team rather than those 2 bs seasons.

I'll disagree with this. I've always liked baseball, but didn't really get fully into it until more of the stats stuff became mainstream and it really appealed to the scientific side of my brain. I think it does take a certain mindset to enjoy it though, especially if you didn't play a lot growing up.

Their wings are delicious though! I have some friends who just moved from Southport and Newport and they always took me to places that had great atmosphere and good food. I'm going to miss hanging out down there when I visit.

I think that was less complaining about the suspension as much as it was pointing out how completely hypocritical the NCAA is.

Or maybe, just maybe, Ramirez is pretty good at baseball and happens to see Jackson's pitches well. Could be that considering he just hit one about 5 feet from going out. Ethier, not so much. Oh well.

Yeah, Kyle may not ever make a point, but he'll sure argue for hours and confuse the crap out of nearly anybody to the point they have no idea what the original argument was about. Pretty much. The guys it would take to get Price I would much rather move for an impact bat, Stanton specifically. Normally I'd completely agree with this, but with the guys in the pipeline projected to have plenty of power/offense and the system sorely lacking any impact/power arms in the upper minors, it makes me reconsider. Now, is Price the right guy? That I'm not sold on for the reasons TT mentions, but I'm much more inclined to trade assets for TOR pitching at this point than a bat, despite the top 4 minor leaguers being no guarantees.
