  1. Which tells me that unfortunately, the Packers are the best team in football right now.
  2. Wow. Ballsy. And terrible by NE.
  3. I was actually okay with that call. The ticky tack one on Tate on the rebound/kick out pass was BS. I'm glad we got the 50/50 call on Newbill's drive at the end though. Easily could have been called and I'd have probably been pissed if it was my team and it didn't. Edit: I almost forgot the insane block by Nunn on the big man about to dunk. Kid is a hell of an athlete.
  4. Kind of reminds me of the Joker "Wait til they get a load of me!" face.
  5. Not sure how much Michigan's defense had to do with it, but Nebraska's 2 best players couldn't hit the broad side of a barn tonight. They both played much, much better the other times I've watched them.
  6. I'm excusing him for Hoyer and Manziel and mostly excusing him for Locker. Not entirely on Locker, though. When healthy, was Jay Clocker any good? Different style of play than Jake Utler, though, but I wasn't sure. Is this intentional or a kind of hilarious voice to text screw up?
  7. Nunn just had one of the dirtiest blocks by a guard on a fast break I've ever seen.
  8. I don't mind him taking the open threes, but man, he's about the worst chucker I've ever seen.
  9. If Bryant is acquitting himself okay at 3B, I have my doubts that they'll mess around with his position. Maybe if Russell is pulling a Bryant at Iowa and there's a huge hole in the OF(both Coghlan/Denorfia suck, long term Fowler injury, etc), but in the more likely case the difference from the platoon to Russell for a couple months is not going to be a large enough difference to justify changing Bryant's position. Not that it can't or even won't happen, but we're talking about degrees of certainty about Russell being up this summer. Eh, if Baez/Lastella/Alcantara/Castro or whoever else have the other infield spots locked down, Russell has to move Bryant to the OF at some point, and it's probably an upgrade defensively at both positions, and probably a significant one at 3B. I'd rather put the best team on the field than just try to maximize Bryant's worth by keeping him at 3B for the sake of doing so because he's passable (not sure if that's what you're suggesting but it seemed that way). I think he's suggesting that the offensive uncertainty of Russell isn't worth potentially giving up games (or making him a super 2 or whatever the timeline comes down to) for the likely small gain he 'might' provide over the platoon.
  10. So this is going well.
  11. How everyone has been convinced that the entirety of the Bears problems this year are completely on Cutler is beyond me. It's like they've never watched any team sport before ever.
  12. You're 23. Your opinions are probably still pretty bad.
  13. He's not really a guard and has been playing the 4 all year. He's 6'7" and not small, but point taken. He was getting a lot of help and Hammons wasn't getting any help from the guards who should have cleared out the back side and thrown lobs over the top. Also, your 20% 3 point shooter knocking down 3 of them was a bit of a factor as well.
  14. Yeah, those fouls on Nunn when he was shooting jumpers are just inexcusable. 21-24 from the line is crazy good though.
  15. Leron Black is gonna be fun to watch the next few years. All kinds of energy. If he can develop a 15 footer, he'll be a really good player.
  16. It's working, it just craps out every time it goes to commercial. Hell of an end to the first half. They need to play faster all the time. Gives them less time to think about it and screw things up.
  17. Is BTN2Go usually this bad or is it my internet connection?
  18. Does he? I've never had much to complain about on him, but is handling a negotiation like that smart, when its going to be in the hands of a judge? I'm over the rooftops, as I'm fairly positive everyone on here is, but rubbing stuff in their face(if even true) could make them sympathetic in the eyes of a judge, I guess. Especially considering their prior agreement til 2023. I'm much less worried about how sympathetic they look when a judge is involved than I would be if it was a jury. Those are definitely some creative angles they've taken and I hope there's some plausible deniability for those Crane quotes. Definitely seems a bit over the top.
  19. Potential effect on TV revenues I'd guess. I'm not sure how all that works so I can't make any educated analysis though.
  20. What is Lake's appeal? He's completely changed his stance at the plate and has been a walk machine in winter ball. I'm not convinced it's going to have any real effect on his MLB performance since he's still striking out a ton, but it changes the possibility of him being more than worthless to non-zero. He's definitely been working on his approach, but it has also resulted in an enormous strikeout rate. That's why I said the bolded.
  21. LMAO I'll take a demotion and get paid $4M. Sounds like the FO in Buffalo was kind of a mess and he didn't have a good relationship there. Definitely odd he ends up there though.
