    I was just going to say hey Costas easy on Farmer there buddy. Granted, all I can think of was this and his bizarre rant about Strop, but it's like he has a [expletive] vendetta against relievers just based on these two games alone. Yeah same. I think he's just a dick. Which is worse I don't think he's trying to insult guys it's just him, a giant douche. Well, he is a BFIB, so it probably comes pretty naturally to him.

    Meh, Cards did the same thing the inning before and didn't get him in either. He was referring to the Cardinals pitchers historically high strand rate Right, but that particular situation happens pretty regularly. It's not like the situation they've got now with the bases loaded and 1 out. Wiggling out of this would be a great example of their absurd luck so far. Crawford hit a slow roller to 3rd and got a run in though.

    Wow, Belt just struck out on a pitch that I'm 99% sure was on the chalk of the RH batter's box. Just awful.

    Vogelsong is miraculously through 3 shutout innings. Not surprisingly, Lance Lynn hasn't allowed anything yet either.

    Go look at where the cubs rotation ranks in baseball. I still think you're ridiculous. I also think it's ridiculous that you think one awful start changes that. He hasn't made it through the 6th inning in like a month, so it's not just one start. That, combined with his history of second half struggles makes the argument even more valid. I would have liked to see more as well, but not at the prohibitive price it sounds like was being asked.
