  2. I will cry like the biggest baby in the history of ever and won't give one damn who sees me do it.

  5. Not sure if I'm dying or about to have an aneurysm.

  7. Just cracked my 3rd beer. Could be a long night.
  8. Damn, they stung 3 balls off him and got nothing.
  9. Well, if Wood bats, that's our shot at every spot in the lineup hitting a HR.
  10. Apparently Javy's bomb was the first postseason HR Lackey has ever given up.
  11. He didn't. They added some bonuses to get him to like 2.5M.
  12. I was listening to my normal St. Louis morning sports radio show and they had a couple Post-Dispatch guys on that said the same. Less than 5% Cards fans was their estimate, which is pretty great.
  13. Yep, I've been procrastinating all day and I don't see it changing anytime soon.
  14. It's certainly not yours you squelcher.
  15. Cogs had a pretty hard hit ball in his first AB last night for a single. Looked terrible striking out in his second, but I'm not sure you'll get much better from Soler, who certainly won't see any hittable FBs from a guy as smart about pitching as Lackey is. Yeah but the guy is seeing the ball great, and is taking his walks. If they don't want to throw him hitable pitches then he'll be standing on first. You missed the most important part there......hittable fastballs. He'll get strikes, but they'll be on breaking balls that he's shown very little ability to hit. He gets a couple strikes on him and then he's susceptible to the slider out of the zone. I just like Coghlan better in this spot and as soon as Lackey is gone, put Soler in the game to dong away.

  17. Leaving Soler in because he's red hot even though his bat is like Pedro Serrano's and is afraid of the curveball?
