    Tied for 11th But not a good way to judge how prone one is to GIDP. Lee gets a lot more chances than most (in contrast to 2005, for example). If you look at GIDP% (GIDP divided by chances to do so), he still leads the Cubs, but he's only 70th or so in MLB.

    Why not? All the research I've seen indicates that a 5-man rotation offers no health benefits over a 4-man rotation. The Dodgers began the 5-man rotation because they had five good starters, not because they wanted to prevent injuries.
