  1. The Yankees don't play their best SS at SS either. You wanna argue with all their rings? I have never lost an argument with a ring.
  2. Me, too. Lou likes him some overmanaging.
  3. Good thing Lou started a bunch of left-handed bats yesterday and left them on the bench today.
  4. Haha. Left-handed batters hit 100 points of OPS better against Lowe, but Fontenot and Edmonds are on the bench. Johnson's career numbers against Lowe probably have zero predictive value according to the research of Tango, Lichtman, and Dolphin.
  5. Dear Lord, why? He might be worse than Lou.
  6. Edmonds isn't going to see good pitches without some protection.
  7. Thought that was common knowledge. It might be, but I never knew it. I guess you didn't watch enough Yankees games back in the day. ;)
  8. Nice job by Torre keeping Loney on the bench today. Thanks, Joe!
  9. Are you serious? That's a new level of stupid for Lou. :banghead: And Reed was caught stealing for the third time this year with only one success. Lou likes running into outs.
  10. Yeah, but it's not like Ronny has been a SS for most of his career and Ryan has been a 2B. Oh wait...
  11. Lou Piniella isn't good at baseball.
  12. The patience of the team this year has been outstanding, and surely Lou deserves some credit for that. As an in-game manager, though, he's absolutely brutal.
