  1. I love how we have rally killers strategically placed throughout the lineup.
  2. Sweet a Bartman reference. Wouldn't be a fox broadcast without it.
  3. To me this game was like the Estes shut out of the Reds in '03. Unexpected, but a great lift none the less. It was definately cool to see him with his parents after the game.
  4. Jesus Dusty, this is Prior Wood all over again. Except this year we aren't fighting for a playoff bid.
  5. Dude they also won the world series last year in a sweep. Oh and Clemens is the best pitcher ever.11111.
  6. I'd trade 3 pitchers for Taveras if I were Hendry. Just picture a lineup consisting of Pierre, Tavarez and Izturis. Will have to move Pierre or Tavarez to a corner of spot. no problem with tavares' arm.
  7. Is that Edmonds in your avatar? Yes. He's the one in the middle. Lol. Nice.
  8. Looking at the pitching matchups after this game you should thank your district.
  9. 65 pitch cg coming on. Z will pry throw 8 pitches to taveras
  10. Why, so we can get some answer about fishing or in Dusty's day? Face it when we win it is a miracle because our manager feels the need to handicap us every game. It just so happened in '03 Wood and Prior, along with Sosa, good enough to overcome it most of the time.
  11. Because Joe Mauer was selected by the Twins. Does anyone really think that if Prior would havebeen picked first now Minnesota would have the best rotation ever with a healthy '03 Prior, Santana, Liriano, Graza, and whoever they feel like running out there. All the while Joe would be hitting around .150 for our Daytona team while trying to adjust to the cuns coaching strategy of never, ever taking a walk.
  12. The fact that Lane is better? Ok Palmerio then. Bats: Left? I am thinking Wilson could bat left and do as much damage to the Astros as Orlando. Plus explain the fact that they never ever have a black guy on the roster.
  13. The fact that Lane is better? Ok Palmerio then.
  14. At least 40. Dude, his glove is hitting .350 And his GOBP has to be at least 425. Yep, hard to view this as anything but a coup by our great gm. Luckily we locked him up before anyone else could steal him away.
  15. This makes perfect sense. Wilson is black. The Houston Astros aren't real big on black guys on the team. How else can you explain letting this guy go to keep Jason Lane?
  16. But he raised his obp today. God can we just fast forward until Hendry and Baker are gone. This is just terrible.
  17. Nice try Cesar at least your glove still hits .350
