    I wouldn't be. You'll only be let down. Dude give it a rest. Does every post have to be attacking the cubs? Yeah things are bad. But, hey thats why the allow trades and free agents.

    I concur, the last two days I have felt way more upbeat. Now they need to do the right thing today and get Rammy resigned. Then lets get fixing.

    I'm not high on Towers, personally. I'd rather Depodesta. They're both big upgrades, though. WOW, defintely not me. Towers is such a better GM. Deposdesta is so overrated it isn't funny. I don't know you can give a guy one year to install a plan that should take 3 years and say he was terrible. True but the fact that he seemed to have no coherent plan ever in that year amkes it an easy evaulation. Being in LA and seeing some of the non national news (the everyday stuff) has led me to this belief. He switched plans more often then anyone and his relations with the fans/media are worse then Hendry It is hard, imo, to use a plan like that in a major market because they always want to win at all costs. They all live in the now. He would have been better served in Kansas City where he would have been given sometime and space.

    What exactly would that even mean? If Augie Ojeda really has that love and Miguel Cabrera really doesn't at the end of the day MC's team is still gonna be better off without the love.

    No, we are using statistical evidence to back up our argument, and mg420 is simply saying "no". There's a large difference there. of course every one knows that statistics are the only thing that really matter in baseball and there is no way to interpret them to your advantage. all hail the mighty numbers! Reminding again what those numbers were: This year no pitcher in baseball with 200+ innings is within shouting distance of those BAA and SLG numbers. Do you have any idea how outrageous they are? What more would you want in a great performance by a pitcher? A few less walks might have been nice, but a pitcher with those BAA and SLG numbers doesn't have to be afraid of a few walks. Yeah he was so good. I thinkhe can be a great closer for us now. I doubt his arm will ever allow for him to be a starter again.

    Dear San Diego, Albert Pujols is the best player in baseball. At this point he is far superior to Barry Bonds. Please don't pitch to him with the game on the line. Thanks, the Houston Astros
