  1. Yeah, he can step out and hit a 15 footer. A lot of people don't realize how talented James really is, we weren't all guards. I think Ben might be the worst offensive player ever. Still he is very valueable. Dennis Rodman would have to disagree with you there Nah at one point Dennis Rodman could score, he just quit doing it. Also he made a few threes in his career. Ben didn't hit rim on a 14 footer tonight.

  3. yep, it's sorta like the Illini team with Head, Williams and Brown. They can shoot 3's all night and midrange jumpers, but have no one to score inside consistently. if one or more of your outside guys get in foul trouble, suddenly the scoring options dry up Except Duhon isn't as good as any of those three guys. Oh and Augustine has more O than Ben. Homer alert. I really don't think Duhon is as good as any of those three. The only one he has a chance at is Dee. Compare Luther Head to Chris Duhon Totals (Regular Season) Name Year G MP FG FGA TP TPA FT FTA ORB DRB TRB AST STL BLK TOV PF PTS Luther Head 2006 80 2308 254 630 113 313 86 123 33 233 266 215 89 9 119 169 707 Chris Duhon 2006 74 2157 215 538 100 278 117 143 28 192 220 373 70 3 117 152 647 Difference 6 151 39 92 13 35 -31 -20 5 41 46 -158 19 6 2 17 60 Luther is better in almost every spot. If you think Duhon is better than Deron Williams, you as a Bulls fan, are the homer. That said he is probably better than Dee Brown. SO you are right, Duhon might have been able to play for Illinois. Might.

  5. Yeah, but I wish they had a true pg with Kirk. It would help his shooting so much. By true point I mean other than Duhon.
  6. Oh yeah and Deron Williams is by far a better point guard than Kirk Hinrich. Hinrich is a better all around player though. The Bulls have a lot of duplicate pieces.
  7. Adding Ben Wallace made them marginally better than what Tyson did, imo. They are going to need a one on one player to be a really great team in this league.
  8. Sacramento's player of the game Chris Duhon. Nice play ribs.
  9. Hey what happened to Abdur-Rahim? He is still really young, yet is no where near the player he used to be. Did he get hurt?
  10. Mehmet Okur is horrible. I just thought I would post that. You don't have to shoot everytime you get it in the post. As I type this he turns and passes right to a Phoenix player.
  11. Really, what has Tyrus shown that a handful of guys in the d-league can't do? He had a nice block on Shq and that is about it. With all his years of experience playing basketball... Well he has played three years now at least. I mean he is an impressive athlete, no doubt. That said I think you would find a lot of those on the AND 1 tour. I really hope I am wrong, but Pax should have just picked Roy. Yeah, it sounds like you are jumping to conclusions way too early. Nobody said TT was going to be a great shooter. He is what he is, and he's going to have to develop a shot. Not going to happen in a couple games----and nobody is expecting it to. I guess, I just think he is basically another guy at a position we have well covered with Deng, and Noc. We could have used a big 2 who could score, which Roy is. And that could be Thabo too. I like Roy a lot too, but there's nothing wrong with Tyrus - he brings a lot of elements that the team sorely lacks. That was an ugly first half, at least the Bulls lead it by 6. That set basketball back 5 years. Lol. I wish we were up more than that since I don't think Sac could ply worse than that if they tried. I do like Thabo, I think he was a steal.

  15. This game is like watching paint dry. Tyrus Thomas is now 0-8, I believe on fts this year. They can play D, but unless they develop or trade for a great scorer they will not be a true title threat.
  16. Let's hope he's more of an athlete and less of a doctor than Craig Krenzel. Craig Krenzel was exactly 0 parts athlete. Oh yeah 0 part athlete. Won National Championship as QB, started games as QB in the NFL. What exactly would an athlete look like?
  17. Link Isn't he like 40 hits short of 3000? They will find a way to keep him.
  18. bump for the hat.
  19. That's the worst part. I don't really dislike St Louis all that much (I loathe Houston), but the fact that Scrappy McHustler won the MVP makes me sick, because not only wil we be subjected the the standard "heart wins over talent" boilerplate sportswriting/radio for the next 12 months, but there's a better than 75% chance that Hendry decides he needs to field a team that features below average corner OF's, a terrible C, a godawful middle IF, and a mediocre starting rotation anchored by a solid #1 in order to win. isn't that what we have? but a little better with barrett?
  20. You got to do that for what? 2 and a half seasons? The best fans in baseball folks.
  21. I think he is really pushing his luck even being here right now.
  22. Nothing like coming onto a Cubs board to rub it in. Classy move crap bag. Especially since he whined about how bad his team was all year.
  23. I am going to punch every cardinal fan in the mouth I see the next few days.
  24. Isn't Jared the younger one? Yes he was also wearing all cardinal gear in the crowd. They will always be Anaheim.
