What could this solve? what you do is when ramirez gets back you bat ramirez 3 floyd 4 lee 5 No, you bat Lee 2, Floyd 3, Aramis 4, Pie 5 NO NO NO NO, DO NOTTTTTTTT MESS WITH PIE, LEAVE HIM AT 2!!! His profile fits better lower in the order. You want to maximize runs, you move Pie down. You want more "exciting" baseball, you leave him where he is. how do u figure putting a power hitter at 2 and a contact hitter at 5 will create more runs? thats backwards Power Hitter? Is it 2005 again? ok but Pie isnt gonna get big power out of nowhere, and when ur Lee's size the balls are going to start leavin the park. Lee has more chance to start hitting homers than Pie does No he isn't going to magically start hitting homers again just because he is tall. Since his wrist injury he has been sapped of most of his power. lee isnt just tall, he is huge and muscular, if ur as good of an average hitter as Lee and are that big it SHOULD only be a matter of time for him to start launching balls. He wont be a 40 homer guy, but 25-30 is what he can do, i mean thats what kind of power hitter he has been his whole career minus 1 year Yeah one year when he hurt his wrist. I think Lee hits 15-20 homers.

It just seems that Marquis loses his stuff so fast. It's Lou's job to recognize when he's done. He just isn't very good. He should always be on a short leash.

Why do you think that the Cardinals always end up with a better team than us? They do that little stuff, meanwhile we have a bunch of guys, like Izturis, who throw that crap away and just hack.

Maybe their organization preaches patience, OBP, and the importance of the walk. We shouldn't get too excited yet. Fontenot's been up for all of two weeks, Pie has hit well since his 2nd callup, and Theriot's been mired in a slump recently. None of these guys are superstar prospects. Still, they are a better option than Izturis, and definitely show how stupid it is to pay the likes of Neifi Perez 3M per year. Actually Pie is a pretty big prospect

Not if his batting average was as good as his women slept with knocked up average. How would one even compute that, I am sure there are some ladies he is sleeping with who aren't getting pregnant.

You want him it is pretty simple, start with Derek Lee. Then throw in a good young pitcher. We get him we are going to get fleeced.

no, that team actually won more games than they lost, plus they bunched most of their chokes up toward the end of the year. this team knew how to choke from day one. Yep that team had to work at being the cubs. this team was the cubs from the get go.
