  1. That's an overly simplistic way of looking at things. If someone thinks being gay is a choice, and thinks being gay is a sin, and believes that God gave humans free will, it's a lot more clear as to why they feel the way Broussard does. But everyone is a sinner, there isn't the same hate for everyone else from these groups. You've been listening to Boers and Bernstein haven't you? No, I live well out of their range. I had a family member who was gay and died of aids. His brother was a drug addict, found Jesus, and was saved. He now posts on Facebook about how evil homosexuality is and it bothers the crap out of me. That was your brother and he did absolutely nothing wrong, besides not having safe sex. I just don't get people.

  3. Why can't someone be religious and not see the hypocrisy in god hating things he created? Unreal.
  4. My guy is Torreyes, so I can't say much. I gotta go Javy. If he makes it we have a star SS. Plus Starlin Castro. Pretty unreal.
  5. Good point. Apologies.
  6. I wanna get that pregnant. You aren't man enough. Please stop being so weird. You look like the fat dork from Mad Men. I'm just letting you know you won't be getting lucky with anything that sexy, ever.

  8. We probably won't have a choice. I'll be thrilled with either guy.
  9. Our catchers are good at catching the ball.
  10. Petition to be in a division with Houston, Miami, and San Diego.
  11. He's not skipping high A.
  12. i also don't think that it's a great idea to be spreading a rumor that a married man with a child is gay. Passing on something relevant to the discussion, that I heard from his friend, to a Cubs message board is hardly some sort of malicious rumor spreading. It doesn't even matter about Curry or not, say player X instead if it makes you feel better. This isn't me going to ESPN, and you are just being aggressive towards me because you are seemingly offended by the idea that someone who was married with a child could be gay. Instead of actually responding to the question I brought up, you fixate on an example I used to point out that homosexuality among athletes is probably a lot more common than people realize. I am still curious how often players know that a teammate is gay, because I wonder how much of this is made into a bigger issue than it would be otherwise by the media. ETA: I have no intention of arguing or having truffle act like he's the morality police, so if anyone is offended by speciation of an NBA player being gay then feel free to delete that post to end the "rumor spreading" that I'm doing...lol smh. To kind of answer your question, I knew of one guy who played major college basketball with a former NBA all star and the star was out to the team, but not the public. Fwliw.
  13. The Sosa HR is my favorite -- and it's an oft-forgotten one since we ended up losing the game. Can't face Lenny Harris, dude.
  14. Oh, still this is a wonderful start. Bravo to Jason to have the courage to be the first.
  15. It'll be interesting to see if that prompts other athletes to come out. With this and the NFL story, it's clear more are on the way to coming out. =D> You mean Ayenbadejo saying that there's 4 that are going to come out? Yep, I think it is awesome.

  17. And another error, is he making an alarming amount? Or is his the typical lower minors amount? Half(well, 4 of 9) of his errors are throwing errors that have come in the last 10 days since they've been forced to stick stone hands Geiger at 1B after Bour broke his wrist. I'd chalk that up to him having zero help at the other end of the throw, while still needing to work on consistency like we'd expect. Cool, I didn't even think to check that. When I saw him in Peoria last year I thought the arm would play well.
  18. And another error, is he making an alarming amount? Or is his the typical lower minors amount? Both? It's typical of young SS's, and also typical of young SS's to not make it as SS's. Yeah, I'm really hoping he can stick though. In this era if he can stick and reaches his potential, he's so rare.

  20. So then no, you didn't play at a world class level. So you don't know how this will effect a guy playing the toughest position in the world against the greatest atheletes. Seriously dude, die in a fire, you have no earthly idea what the hell you're talking about. It's about getting back to the level you were at prior to the injury, regardless of what level that was. This line of argument you've taken on is completely worthless and you're wrong. I'm pretty sure your undying love for Deron has completely blinded your ability to reason in a sound manner. Lol. I'm sticking up for Rose. When you're at the level he was, which was IMO, the second best player in the world. Any little slip up could cost you because the difference is so small between the next closest guy. But yeah, that's just my love of deron. Nice thought process there, me saying repeatedly that bulls fans were dumb for yelling about rose and calling him elite was just a ploy to praise deron Williams. You sure did crack that code, Idiot.
  21. Javy walk and double. =D> Javy error. :banghead:
  22. That's rich, coming from you.
  23. Well, he was trying to sabotage it while it was going on, so I guess this is the next best thing. Yes by cheering for the nets I was trying to sabotage it. I just. I.......
