  1. Donger got called out on a pitch a foot higher than that. Now Hill is out. I'm not sure about that call Lou. He gives lilly a shot to get out of the inning, but not hill Hill was getting squeezed too.
  2. I think Rich has been ok tonight, but he has had a lot of hard hit balls right at guys too. He still isn't right yet.
  3. The Brewers are carrying 14 pitchers? What?! You can never have too much pitching. But you can have not enough hitting The Piggly Wiggly scouting report says. Ned Yost sucks.
  4. The Brewers are carrying 14 pitchers? What?! Yep. And this is the kicker. Apparnetly Yost has taxed them. WTF why does that guy still have a job? Gagne pitches almost everyday. Yost is an idiot. Why wouldn't he? It isn't like he ha ever been hurt.

  6. Ned Yost, carrying 14 pitchers lets his pitcher bat in the 6th down 4-3. Oh wait you can't really pinch hit when you have two bench players.
  7. On a related note Lou doesn't care and is sticking with Theriot.
  8. They are also getting really good numbers out of recent minor league manager gabe kapler and jason kendall. Man I dislike the Brewer fans.
  9. I felt our biggest break is when we lost Soriano. We have been no more lucky than anyone else. Plus Rammy isn't really hitting yet and our 2 and 3 have been horrible.
  10. Well when one thinks of lucky, usually the Cubs are the first thing that pops in the head. Also Vice Versa.
  11. But it doesn't. We should have got three games at home against the Mets and not 4 there.
  12. Oh yeah we generally have caught all the breaks. Like the way Mark prior and Kerry Wood went from being super good, to super unhealthy. Or the fact that Derrek Lee gets hurt and costs him two years worth of power production. Or everyone of our top picks the past few years being so great. Oh wait none of our guys from the last what, 4 drafts, have contributed to our success. Enough of their crap.
  13. You can just tell by hearing him how smart he is. It was interesting to hear a former player's take on sabermetrics.
  14. tony's writing a bestseller against milwaukee today. Yeah he burnt through all his guys by the 9th. Awesome work Tony. =D>
  15. Good lord Willie and Lou are writing the book on how to overmanage here.
  16. Actually, that'd be Ronny Gehrig. Oh yeah.
  17. isnt his elbow screwed up? Why would tony do that? If you are going to stick someone at 2nd who can't play it, wouldn't you go with someone other than your franchise player? If it was me, I'd have put Schumaker at 2B (he played SS and 2B in college) and Larue in left, leaving Pujols and his gimpy arm at 1B. I would never move Pujols until he gets his arm fixed. Why tempt fate?
  18. Man, Beltran is amaing. He played that ball perfectly off the wall.
