He did the same thing a couple of times against Washington in that whacky game they had. The relief pitcher hit a homer in his only at bat. I think it is what the other guys have said, he just doesn't have many bullets on the bench.

Yes, it is that he is good. Not the points that people have been trying to make about how he has gotten physically bigger. Oh and you know another great prospect was Corey Patterson. I imagine if he put on ten pounds of muscle this offseason and hit 20 homers by the break no one would say anything, because he was once a top prospect.

Who would be available? If the Tigers continue to suck, I could see Renteria being available, but that isn't likely. Renteria would be a downgrade. Would he? Hasn't he always been much better as an NL player?

yeah, his OBP isn't near .400 or anything. His OBP is reasonable, but his baserunning mistakes and his defense really hurt him. The Cubs could upgrade, imo. Nice curve! Yeah, but I don't know who you would go after that would be any better. Go after Hanley Ramirez Get, ok you win.
