  1. Hi, I am Alfonso Soriano. I have taken craps that have more talent than Ryan Ludwick.
  2. The Yankees have proven time and again that its not 'names' that win, or have a right to win. Good ballplayers playing as a team with the drive to do their best at every moment is a powerful winning combination. The pixey dust and luck references just sounds like someone doesnt understand the game very well. This is the best post ever. Yep it isn't the "names" that win it for the Yankees. God if only we knew about any of their infielders on the left side. What a great point you bring up.
  3. Yup. That sound you hear is the bottom falling out. Seriously? It's TWO games. Two games that are continuing some very clear and worrisome trends. 3 games. And they havnt been hard luck loses with bad calls, they've been flat out terrible baseball. Their last two wins were pretty crappy as well.
  4. I, for one, hope the Cubs are the team they are playing when he does it. The guy is a Class A **** if you ask me. He is, you don't see Wood doing that crap. It is one thing for the starter to do it after he blew through a team. You got the bottom three guys out with a three run lead jackass.
  5. No wait, they are still in last place. I would put one in Tejada's ear tomorrow. What did he do? They didn't mention anything on the radio. I'm assuming he was posing after the leaping catch? Posing and yelling. Between he and Valverde it was ridiculous.

  7. I don't think it's the losses that bother us per say (not that there's any such thing as a good loss), but rather the fashion in which they're losing, the team/pitchers they're losing to and the worrisome performances that are contributing to the losses, performances that could be precursors to extended problems. Exactly. I know the Cubs are better then the Brewers/Cards, but the fact that they are playing like the Padres is what concerns. 17+ innings, they've score 2 runs on such "legendary" pitcher like Moehler and Rodriguez. That is concerning to me. Concerning yes but every team has stretches like this. When will the Cardinals have theirs? Next year?
  8. I can't wait to see the line that Dan Uggla puts up in that series. It's going to be scary good. Seriously though, I'm not panicking...yet. It's only two games, and I'll chalk it up to coming slow out the gates. They lost their first two of the year as well before getting red hot. Fukudome is concerning me however, I hope he figures it out soon. I hope he adjusts cause I don't want 3 more years of what he has done since the first month.
  9. We beat the Marlins in 2006. We haven't won in the state of Florida since 2005 Gotcha. So only two years ago we beat them.
  10. Man we are in big trouble. Since we never win in Arizona and havent beat the Marlins since '05.
  11. I would love to see DLee drive the ball again.
  12. It is going to hurt so bad to watch both the Brewers and Cardinals pass us.
  13. Man Ward got all of his hits last year.
  14. You know what Tejada was laughing at there? How he wasn't punished for his steroid use.
  15. Len pitching to the fans to watch the first place cubs on the next homestand. Don't get ahead of yourself Len. The way things are going we probably won't be in first place once we get back home.
  16. No way, Theriot made an out on the bases. That never happens.
  17. Insane as in outrageous? Or insane as good? Both, although I get the feeling he is doing it the same way that Clemens and Bonds were. No way. :yahoo: of course, you shouldn't question a tony larussa-led ballclub. At one time, he did coach McGwire and Canseco when they were pumped up. At this point I think everyone managed a few juiceheads. I was going more on the published reports that surfaced last year. HGH? Yep, that and take a look at his head now. It is almost Polancoi  sh. Placido Polanco: http://www.bestweekever.tv/bwe/images/2008/01/vespabeard.jpg I'd hit it.
