With bats. and every guy, sans Pujols having career years. 2004 part deux? At least Rolen, Edmonds, Pujols, and Walker were all good to great hitters. This is craziness. Yeah, but they still had some guys that went insane that year. Tony Womack comes to mind. Yeah, but they had good pitchers that year as well. With this team they seriously copied the Major League Movie and put together a team of scrubs. I think they are using a Jim Hendry cutout in their dugout though.

Insane as in outrageous? Or insane as good? Both, although I get the feeling he is doing it the same way that Clemens and Bonds were. No way. :yahoo: of course, you shouldn't question a tony larussa-led ballclub. At one time, he did coach McGwire and Canseco when they were pumped up. At this point I think everyone managed a few juiceheads. I was going more on the published reports that surfaced last year.

Ned is going to run him and CC hard because he knows that they're not coming back. That might work with CC, but there is no way Sheets will hold up if they keep this up with him.

I guess. It would be a shame to see him get hurt though. By the way Dusty argued the same thing about Prior in '03. He's only thrown this many pitches etc.

But, why not get Torres into a game? He hasn't pitched in a week now. Plus If you pull him at 90 now that's less pitches he will throw for the year. This game is over.

If he goes out for the 9th up 9-1 They should execute Ned Yost.

Like it will matter. I love that Pujols hasn't even went crazy with homers yet and they are hanging around. Wait until he goes crazy. If they and the Brewers both beat us out of the playoffs this year and I am done with baseball. That would be the ultimate kick in the jewels if the Cubs are beat out of the playoffs by those 2. 1 (& Cubs get WC) ok, but both (and Cubs stay home)?? No effin way. The pain of that would be just absolutely crippling. It would be the ultimate 100 years kick in the balls to Cubs fans. Get our hopes way up to have the Cardinals crush it with a minor league team.

The Cardinals put together their team like the Indians in Major League this year. And ot no one's suprise they are playing just like them in the movie.
