    Yea it was pretty funny. I probably crossed the line by calling that guy a whiny little bitch, but when you are being a whiny little bitch, and making no sense at all, I feel you need to be called out on it lol My favorite part was them being insulted with Kevin Harts three starts, yet also having threads to appreciate Joel Piniero. Yea its cracked me up the way they have treated Manny also. Everytime he comes to bat, fields a ball, or does anything he gets boo'd. Then on GRB, and some of my Stl fans friends have had the balls to say "hes a cheater, and deserves to be boo'd etc..." Yet they cheer like schoolgirls for Ryan Franklin, Rick Ankiel, and Julio Lugo the wife beater. Not to mention the whole Mark McGwire thing. I love that during the AllStar game we had to hear about what a great story Franklin is. How he battled and deserved this chance, yet didn't mention he was a juicer. Yet they ripped Arod and Manny.

    Ive got to imagine alot of the Cubs will be coming out soon. We are in the middle of 30 games in 31 days, Id like to see the whole team pulled soon. I would be ok with that, get Fox some abs.

    Let's win this one first. It's still early and we are the Cubs. I would assume the we are the cubs part means we are so much better than the other teams in this division we shouldn't sweat it? I wish it did. Oh, cause I just figured the way we've owned the division recently meant we should just relax. We were without our best player for two months and we are right at first place. I love our chances.

    I doubt Fox would play a worse short than Theriot does.

    The Dodgers might not score again that series.

    I'm sure the same thing could have been said about Nate McClouth at one point and they developed him into a pretty nice hitter.

    He had a horrible April, but a really good May and June. If Z would have had this start yesterday they would have been all over him. But, since Dempster's a clown everyone makes excuses for him. Not us mind you, but the media.

    I love the damage control they do for certain guys. How bout just laying it out there. Dempster has been very underwhelming this year.

    My absolute favorite part of the all star game/weekend was Buck talking about what a great story Ryan Franklin is. Leaving out a pretty big detail.

    Isn't Fox basically a RH Mark Teahen? Levine also mentions in that article that they're looking at Doug Davis, Jon Garland and Tom Gorzelanny ( :-& to all three) and Orlando Cabrera as a backup middle infielder. I don't think Fox and Teahen are a good comparison at all. Teahen can play a lot of positions and play them acceptably, and he's a completely different type of hitter than Fox. Given that Teahan is left handed and can play second, he seems like a much better fit than Freddy Sanchez for what management is looking for. He'd come cheaper, too. I thought there is uncertainty as to whether Teahen can play an acceptable 2b? And I was hoping we'd all be less discerning about the handed-ness of any hitters... If Gordon didn't get hurt he was going to be the everyday guy there.
