    All people do is blast Zambrano when Harden has been much worse this year. Rich Harden has done nothing but not show up this year.

    If that were to happen it would be interesting. The Cards finish with a tough week. But, it won't.

    He still could have been out of that inning with the lead if we have a real shortstop. I realize it was only one occasion, but Randy Wells seemed to be ok escaping a 3-error inning with only 2 runs. The defense may not have helped Zambrano, but he shouldn't completely fall apart whenever something bad happens. and there has been times when Z has pitched through it as well.

    #2: Find an actual ace Cause those grow on trees. Maybe we could quit playing everyone out of position and start to value defense. That could maybe help our staff out a bit.

    I know. That was one of the first things I looked for. I was hoping for 12+ games in MO next year (selfish reasons), but it's only 6. If I am correct, the Cubs have not played the Royals since 2001 and not in KC since 2000. What gives? It's like Bud knows I moved here. In all honesty I'm not sure anyone will ever figure out the schedules. One of the main reasons for interleague was for dream matchups. We are what, 11 years in and still haven't played in Boston. The Cubs at Fenway is probably the biggest dream matchup there is.
