    Are you sure? Down here on the KU broadcast they claimed the same thing yesterday. Kansas only has 6 consecutive wins at the moment. Nice, so a fabrication by the KU announcers.

    Mora went to the Lovie Smith school of challenges. You only get one a half right, if wrong? Wouldn't you want to hold on to it? No, you get two for the game, and an extra if you win both. Can use both in one half. Oh, ok not quite as bad as I thought then.

    yeah hasn't really worked out like that this year, or most years in general. :Braces for Fred stats about how we usually beat them in season series': Yeah, I'm too lazy to look it up...... but this year is the first time in several years that they've taken the season series from us. We were better then them against our own division too. It was against the rest of baseball where they beat us.

    I hope Greinke wins it, it give the Royals fans somethign to hang their hats on. It's been awhile since they've had somethign really nice happen to their franchise.

    Yeah what bums those guys have been in their careers. I see your point. In his 9year career Sori DID bat .300 once, and drive in 100 runs twice. He hit a lot of HR's and only struck out 130 times a year. And he was not the worst outfielder in the league either. I hope he comes back next year. I miss his classy GW hit trots. Really batting average and rbis are what your gauging his career on? Awesome. I hope he comes back too because as hard as Sam Fuld plays, he still sucks big time and if we lose Sori and Bradley pencil us in for about 65 wins. I understand your feelings on this thing. I just don't think the team likes the idea that 2 guys that can't even spell clutch make 5 times the money they do. I grant that Milton has NOT been horrible. (between the lines) I would say that Soriano has a bigger clutch homer than anyone else on our team. It should have won a World Series.

    hey, you guys have had 3 winning seasons the last 15 years or so. that's not horrible, i guess. actually it's probably worst in the BigTen, but it's probably better than Vanderbilt or something. I almost feel like we are as bad as Iowa basketball, except we have athletes playing for us. Iowa basketball has had 12 winning seasons the last 15 years though, so I'm not sure I understand. I meant during the Big 10. When you can't play cupcakes. It's really hard to have a losing record as a BCS basketball school.

    Really? There's always Notre Dame, Ohio State, Michigan, Nebraska, etc. I mean it's not a bad gig, but one of the best in the midwest? Populous state, decent recruiting grounds, no real in state competitor, good college town, big budget, decent tradition? I don't see why they can't get the same kind of success as Wisconsin did under Alvarez if they make the right hire. True, I guess there is that potential. Another program swooping in is Kansas. Them getting better is one more for us to have to climb over.

    After walking two straight hitters to load the bases, you have to love your pitcher swinging at all three pitches he sees.
