  1. I guess I just don't get why he doesn't have it done now and not miss anytime. At some point its supposedly going to go. Why risk it during the middle of a season if you can choose when to have the surgery and not miss game time?
  2. I highly doubt it. Molock is in the 2012 class, Randle the 2011. Randle's class is the important one because that is when Hummel, Moore and Johnson all leave. We need to get some scorers in that class that can contribute right away. Also Painter is the one recruiting Randle and he only goes for the top recruits that he wants most. I'm aware of their class years. We are a player for Randle as well.
  3. Very Cub like inning for the Angels so far.
  4. CubbieBum, Purdue just got a verbal from the top point guard out of Ohio for 2012. Does this mean you've cooled on Randle?
  5. Depends on if you can work around his shifts at the Fairfield Inn. But, I could score you an interview with Rob Griffin he prefers to be paid in snow though. I assume he means Cds of the rapper?
  6. Jesus, why are these al teams falling over themselves to make outs on the bases?
  7. Get a lickliter Q and A. Todd, be honest, you screwed up leaving Butler huh?
  8. I really think Beal is a big litmus test for us. We have definately shut down the state borders to an extent. Beal is a St. Louis kid and we are going up against one of the big dogs. We manage to get him and I am really excited for what it could mean for our program.
  9. That's awesome. I wish there would have been a spot for us to submit questions. I have heard some crazy rumors over the years about Marcus and would have loved to hear them asked of him.
  10. Me too, but I'm tired of coming up just short. Would love to add both of these kids to Jereme Richmond.
  11. If we get one, I would imagine we prolly would be favored land the other. Sounds like Beal will decide first.
  12. Quincy Miller said this according to Illinois scout. Off of his twitter. "Had a great visit from coach Bruce Weber today! Enjoyed the time and look forwading to visiting when I go to see ALL my fam"
  13. Heh, who saw this coming? Man I hope we get this one. Bill is due to lose one to us.
  14. Is that the same Brad Mills that managed the Peoria Chiefs when Earl Cunningham and Ty Griffin were being "developed"?
  15. I thought the pujols double play was when Demp was closing. Like in 06?
  16. Awesome scrappy feels secure enough in his job to attack a better player. Milton has taken dumps with more talent than Ryan Theriot.
  17. special? they've won 26 championships, which is more than double the number than any other franchise has won. their payroll is about 33% larger than that of any other team in the game, they've been leading their division and league for most of the year, they have more talent than any other roster in the game, and were probably favored to win it all going into 2009. how is this special at all? Winning another one the first year in the new stadium would be pretty cool. True, I forgot about that aspect. The Cardinals did this as well.

It's special because of all the home grown players. The front office really worked hard to put this team in place.
  19. I've read that the Purdue boards compared him to JuJuan Johnson at the same stage. I like this get. Plus it puts more pressure on some of our other guys as the spots are shrinking again.
  20. Yourseasons twitter has him to Illinois.
  21. Making themselves feel better by taking a shot at us. Cute.
  22. I don't care if he's shorter than Kiefer Sutherland, he was the best rebounder in the history of college basketball. Paul Millsap? I assume you must mean him since he never had a year as bad as Blair's best in rebounding. Hell Blair's not even the best rebounder in this class. That would be Griffin. Blair had a much better rebounding percentage than Griffin. Blair had the highest offensive rebounding % in the history of college basketball. EDIT: Offensive rebounding percentage, not defensive. He was slightly below Griffin defensively. Weren't those just #s going back to 2005? I keep seeing this repeated about Blair and the only source I can find is the Gassway article. (The same article that listed Sean May as 5th. Yeah, Sean May) The Sean May thing is what makes me kinda toss that stat out the window.

  24. October 16th
  25. Sounds like Bradley Beal will choose between KU and UI's midnight madnesses. Since he plans on deciding his college choice before his season starts, I would say that the Midnight Madness he goes to would probably be a safe bet for his school.
