  1. David Stern won't let that happen. This series is going 7. Who's reffing this series? The Lakers aren't going to get [expletive] for calls as long as they keep chucking up jump shots all night long like they have been doing. That's what Chris Webber and Mike Bibby thought as well.
  2. He grew up in Independence Mo. I can see that. You are kidding, Yes? You got him confused with Truman? He moved to Mo. when he was "18"......but you kid don't you? I don't support blatant racism. Even in a sock account.

  4. thoughts? your post is 100% wrong and stupid. Why? Give me a reason why. Because you don't WANT it to be true? He has struck out 14 times so far in April. 5 more times than in his rookie season, and this month is not over! I understand your reluctance to admit that he is falling off, it's obvious that you don't see it. Time will tell. But get this: He has 1 more HR than little Rasmus who only plays against right handers, and has LESS walks not intentional. You see no problem there? Yes, all cubs fans don't want Pujols to be bad. Good call there.
  5. They have to go down. Someone has to slip up and make one of their violations easy to prove. You know every other coach in the country resents him so they'll find a way to pass it on to the NCAA. Especially ballsy since Bruce Pearl and his tape recorder are in his conference. We're fortunate to have a coach of such high morals, ethics and integrity in the SEC. Bruce will try to make sure the cheaters in that league get their comeuppance just like he did in the Big Ten. Fortunate indeed. You can't teach crazy.

  8. I'd love to hear what Len really thinks about this move.
  9. Four more runs, it would have been a grand slam We got one. We would have got 4. That's three more.
  10. Ok, I know this is foolish, but I think this team is gonna end up being pretty good.
  11. Can we please get Castro up and at least one of the crappy cajuns out of the lineup.
  12. Soto is not playing. Oh I thought that Bob said Soto threw the ball into centerfield. My bad. Nice role Cajuns.
  13. Only problem I have with the lineup tonight is Soto being behind some really poor hitters.
  14. He's gotta be getting called up soon, right?
  15. Experts, how excited should I be for Brooks Raley?
  16. Winning a tournament game in the last 5 years really mellows you out. Bruce Weber has coached in more final fours than any coach ever at Mizzou. That's a fun fact to think about.
  17. Deron Williams himself has said the reason he is the player he is today is because of playing for Bruce Weber. But, that's not what ole Dollar Bill and his fans want to hear. Richard McBride was never a 5 star. Dee Brown, like Sherron Collins is too short to play in the NBA. Otherwise spot on.
  18. So he's a freshman now? I don't mean to be naive, and I know junior high kids or younger are drawing attention now. But it still makes me uncomfortable. He's a sophomore now. Of all the things to make you feel uncomfortable about Kansas recruiting, getting sophomores in HS to committ should be pretty far down the list. If Weber weren't making a living duping 8-year-olds into committing to UI, I guarantee you'd be railing against Self for it. Na, Weber just says he I can help turn you into Deron Williams. Bill can help turn you into Julian Wright or one of the other 5 stars he's got who amounted to crap at the next level.
  19. When does Quincy Miller announce he wants to go to Kentucky as well?
  20. This is just getting to be a joke. The downfall of Kentucky is going to be epic.
  21. With Ellis, Maggette and Curry, I can see why Morrow could become a FA, but I keep seeing people over on Realgm having wetdreams about this kid but I don't have a clue who he is or why should he be targeted? Because his career 3 point percentage is higher than Steve Kerr's on double the attempts per game. He's an extraordinary shooter...as in there are few players in league history that match him. I knew he could shoot, but good lord. Those are some awesome numbers.
  22. So you wish to base the decision on 4 starts rather than 7 years of data suggesting he's the worst option to be moved to the pen. I know you went on to talk about how the move is temporary, but honestly any decision to move your most talented starter to the pen is a bad discussion. But allowing Harris anywhere NEAR the lineup, regardless of spot, imo is a far worse move. In fact, I can count at least 10 moves the Cubs have made (and this is sad that I can do it) that are worse then Z going to the pen. do it 10 moves The Goat better be on that list.
  23. Living in Kansas City I don't get to hear much Cub's talk on the radio. Today the Royals pen blew yet another game, they've been as bad as the cubs, and one of the guys down here on his show said hey at least we aren't being [expletive] like the Cubs and sticking Greinke in the bullpen to fix a small part of the problem. Thank you Jim Hendry, Thank you Lou.
  24. Sounds like Cody Larson is going to Florida.
