  1. I hate Koyie Hill, but I really hate Lou for putting him in that situation to begin with.
  2. Isn't Koyie Hill a career minor leaguer who we the Cubs have some how decided has value?
  3. And we now have lost Nady, Soriano, and Soto. Awesome.
  4. What is he in late and close situations? Seems like that's when he does his damage to us.
  5. If we lose this I blame Egon, didn't he learn anything from Bernie Mac?
  6. He always played with lots of intensity and anger but he usually kept it inward and used it as fuel for himself. He then won a championship and has decided no one can touch him or else. Gotten pretty full of himself. I remember the first year with the Celtics he was kind of the quiet, stoic leader. Now he's Rasheed Wallace. Yeah he's always been a [expletive]. Ask Rick Rickhert or however you spell it. He made the mistake of lighting him up in pickup and Garnett fought him and got him ran off the T'Wolves. Yeah it was probably that he played in Minnesota and thus there wasn't the constant exposure. I'm sure it was that and the fact that Minnesota never had any veterans older than him when he was first there to keep him in check.
  7. Bill Murray just make another Ghostbusters movie. Do it for Harold.

  9. Hunter Pence has great patience against us. Everyone else, not so much.
  10. Watching the Lakers game is like watching the WWE. Gasol has gotten about three foul calls where he hasn't even been touched.
  11. Cause he's so gritty and doesn't get paid anything. I just wish Len and Bob would be as hard on him as they are everyone else. Is Len really hard on anyone? He's pretty good at being diplomatic. Bob, on the other hand, has no issues airing his grievances. True, Bob is the one hammering. I just blame Len for what his partner says. Like an old married couple.

  13. every bit as good as purdue in engineering? That's like saying that Scarlett Johansson is every bit as good looking as Kathy Bates. But, then again he thinks Purdue is the 2nd best program in the Big Ten all time. In front of MSU.
  14. Wind howling in and you walk Michael Bourn. Awesome.
  15. 2 thoughts. 1. Lohse is a better left fielder than soriano. 2. Why not take some pitches?
  16. If all of us in this thread now wear some cardinal jerseys, how many games do we win? 91ish?
  17. I hope that means they aren't a player for Randle. randle is apparently meshing very well with tracy abrams on the wolves. all 3 are playing at a very very high level right now. i have to think we get randle. I keep reading that, plus his dad is a huge Illinois fan, plus he wants a good engineering school. Seems like a no brainer.
  18. I hope that means they aren't a player for Randle.
  19. Mike Davis declares for the draft. Does not hire agent.
