  1. I'm so glad the scrappy Cajuns refuse to take walks or show any type of patience. He just walked Nady on four pitches.
  2. As of right now Soto is better than Joe Mauer, yet we look for ways to not use him. It's amazing.
  3. Just woke up. That's his only at bat I've seen.
  4. Hahahahahaaah! Once that batting average returns to normal he will be the same piece of garbage he's always been.
  5. Gah, how is this clown shutting us down like this?
  6. This is why I hate the ESPN predictor. After that hit we are predicted to win. That's stupid.
  7. During spring training his fastball was not very impressive high 80's topping out at 90. His fastball seemed pretty straight, but his off speed pitch, assuming it is the change you are talking about looked, decent. I don't know much about him pre-TJS but I was under the assumption that he was a power pitcher at one point (mid-90's heat). Either way, his numbers so far in Iowa look pretty good. I saw him in '06 in Wichita and he was hitting upper 90's.
  8. Eh, he probably won't even get back to the big leagues.
  9. 2008? If having to watch your third baseman put up an .855 OPS with 27 homers in the midst of an 86 win season is your definition of unbearably bad baseball, I don't feel that sorry for you. Cardinal fans just don't get it. Boo-hoo we put together a crap team, our ace got hurt, and they still managed to win 86 games. Oh the horror.
  10. Good to see Castro realized he is actually good as baseball and broke out of his mini slump. I wonder if he has/had some sort of small nagging injury that was hampering his performance. He was taken out of that game earlier this week and maybe he aggravated something that was lingering for a while. Or maybe in baseball if you are really, really good you make outs almost 7 times out of ten and he cooled off a bit?
  11. I was more ticked off by Doug Davis, myself. How in the blue hell did we lose that series? One game at a time, eh? Yeah that's true. At least we still got Z for that game 5. If the DBacks ever agree to play it. Although we still need him for the first game of the 2003 World Series as well. :-k

  13. Matt Clement when he was with Boston. yea thats the one i always think of Pujols lining one into the face of Chris Young stands out in my mind. Didn't he almost kill the Padre catcher that game as well?
  14. Didn't follow his daily Milton Bradley tweets last year? The man has a vendetta the size of Brennaman's. You know he needs to get over it, but I still see why he would be pissed. He's gone because he dared question the awesome team that Jim put together and Dusty ran into the ground. Jim's pretty good at pointing the finger. '04 was all the announcers and Sammy Sosa's fault. Thus we bad mouthed them and ran them off. We are starting to rinse and repeat again, '09 was Milton and soon to be Zambrano's fault.
  15. He wouldn't be so good if he didn't eat live babies.
  16. Yep he might not have great stats the past two days, but his at bats have bee close to the old Aramis.
  17. Somebody want to give the Cubs the scouting report on taveras' arm again?
